For reference, the BMS service advisors should read up on Alfa Romeo repair part warranty policy: "Alfa Romeo dealer repair parts are protected by the manufacturer's 2-year, unlimited-mileage warranty administered by Mopar. This covers genuine OEM parts that fail due to material or manufacturing defects, including both the replacement parts and the required labor, provided the parts were purchased from and installed at an authorized Alfa Romeo dealership." Also note, under the warranty section, "What is Not Covered": Damage caused by improper installation. (unless installed by an authorized dealer) The key line is this exception: "Unless installed by an authorized dealer". It is unfortunate a customer needs to be quoting from your contract for resolution. This is more than a policy. It is a legally binding contract with obligations attached. More
