I recently had a horrible experience with the Crown Service Department and wrote a bad review of THEM that in no way diminishes the excellent sales support given to me by Glen. In fact, Glen called to make sure I got all the answers I needed after he saw the review. He is a definite 10, as is the online sales mgr., Jamie.

dissuaded me from bringing my Crown Hyundai factory-certified Tucson there after two other automotive shops said the EV/12 volt battery was set up in a way that they could not figure out. GARY THE SERVICE MGR. told me the battery was not covered by warranty but the Crown sales mgr. (and my Crown Hyundai factory certified warranty) said it was. When I dropped the car off, a random woman (not a service rep.) was enlisted to take my keys and call me an Uber. She mentioned they have only ONE EV mechanic so it would take "days" to replace my battery! When I called at 1 pm the day after dropping my car off, they had no record of my car in the computer system, didn't know where it was or who had the key. The person who is supposed to be the SERVICE MANAGER, GARY, called me back to say they would take care of my car "as soon as they could." This is an example of why I didn't want to take my car to the dealership in the first place. It took a WEEK to get the battery changed and tires rotated. Car returned dirty. No one reviewed charges or what was done to car. Calls for more info were unreturned. Worst "service" experience ever. I will be trading my car so I never have to deal with these people again.

During our conversation, you shared that you had already taken your Tucson to two other shops that were unable to locate or service the EV/12-volt battery, and both had informed you that the vehicle may have electrical issues. I simply reviewed your warranty coverage and explained that the specific battery in question was no longer covered under the factory warranty.
My intent was to provide accurate information so you could make an informed decision moving forward.
I also advised that we would need the vehicle to remain with us in order to properly diagnose and address the issue. Please understand that our EV-certified technician is in high demand, and we try to schedule all EV-related services as efficiently as possible.
Regarding your concerns at drop-off: While a team member other than your service advisor may have assisted in arranging transportation for your convenience, we strive to ensure that all customer interactions are handled with care and professionalism. I sincerely apologize if the experience fell short in this regard.
As for communication, your service advisor, Jarett, has made attempts to reach you to go over the work completed and the associated charges. We're also happy to go over the details again at your convenience.
Lastly, we would like to offer you a complimentary car wash. Please feel free to stop by at a time that works best for you.
We truly regret that your experience did not meet expectations and appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our service.

Crown Hyundai sales process I was treated exceptionally well, before Hyundai I was a 4 times Audi owner and the ownership experience was not good. Now to see if Crown Hyundai Service is as good as their sales team. Really like my Santa Cruz (2nd one :-)
