I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment regarding the 2014 Lincoln we purchased from your dealership on March 2, 2024, for my son, who is preparing for college. Since the purchase, we have faced multiple issues with the vehicle that have required unexpected repairs and additional expenses.
Shortly after taking delivery, the check engine light turned on, and the air conditioning stopped working. Pressing the brakes caused the vehicle to shake, necessitating additional service. We were also informed of issues with the turbo and a major oil leak, which required us to pay an additional $250 deductible. Furthermore, we were not initially made aware that the water pump needed replacement. Currently, the air conditioning and front sensor are still nonfunctional.
We recently had the turbo repaired, only for the motor to fail shortly afterward. Now, we are being told that we must pay an additional $5,000 out-of-pocket, as the extended warranty only partially covers this issue. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience, especially as loyal customers who have previously purchased multiple vehicles from your dealership without encountering such problems. This car has been with us for only seven months, and from day one, it has required attention due to issues that should not be present in a recent purchase.
I respectfully request that you address these ongoing issues promptly. We expect that the necessary steps will be taken to ensure this vehicle is reliable and safe for my son to drive.
