Beware of Harrisonburg Ford, they are dishonest. We bought a larger used vehicle from them in good faith that they thoroughly inspected the car rather than taking chances and buying from an unknown ind bought a larger used vehicle from them in good faith that they thoroughly inspected the car rather than taking chances and buying from an unknown individual. We paid $19k for a vehicle that a week later left me stranded and put me in danger 3 times after that. Ends up the car has a bad transmission and bad catalytic converter. Harrisonburg ford sent me to 3 different dealerships to get estimates and said we were responsible for the repairs. They used the warranty we paid 2k to "fix" the car in its entirety and then said they did us the favor of fixing the car- with our warranty. They didn't spend a dime on it instead used our warranty money to pay for it. Well I got the car back and now it smells like burnt plastic and the sensor alarm won't shut off the entire drive and whenever we turn the car sounds like its scarpping on something. the car was in an accident and the dealership never told us. This is my daily driver and family vehicle. I am so sad that businesses can steal from people like this and be okay with it.. When I brought it home the day we purchased it, it had no horn so they did not even do a proper state inspection. Now my family is indebted with a lemon. This is theft at its finest and no way to do business. My family shouldn't suffer for buying a vehicle from a dealership. Money isn't free. this car has been breaking down since we bought it less than 2 months ago. we cant trade it in because we will be ipside down 8k, the dealership wont help us and says they sold as is but i am positive they knew they were selling us a lemon. they never properly inspected it, we arrived home from the dealership without a horn. The only place to buy a vehicle I have bought several vehicles here over the past 5 years. I have always received the best service hands down. Above and beyond I have purchased numerous vehicles from Harrisonburg Ford and the reason I return is the fabulous customer service across the board! They follow thru with an honest open approach to selling not only the product but the service afterwards. From the front door with Dave Simmons to the end with Jim Bergquist. I have and will continue to recommend Harrisonburg Ford to not only colleagues but also to my family. I have been so impressed with the professionalism of the team, particularly Dave Simmons, that I have referred my two daughters there as well, who have also purchased vehicles. Dave, Jamie and Jim in particular have taken extra time explaining and answering questions regarding the process of car buying to my girls. Where else can you find that kind of support? No where but Harrisonburg Ford. More

Service is top notch! We have been buying cars from Harrisonburg Ford for years! Their staff is top notch. Their best salesman is Justin Bowers. See him as he is the best. Harry Scott has also helped us a few times and he is also top notch. Overall, I would rate them probably one of the best groups to deal with. The sales people are not pushy, they are knowledgable and overall great people to work and deal with! More

Tiresome Experience with a Happy Ending! Having purchased our new Ford Fiesta with optimism and anticipation, we were surprised to receive two recall letters shortly thereafter, and disappoin Having purchased our new Ford Fiesta with optimism and anticipation, we were surprised to receive two recall letters shortly thereafter, and disappointed by what seemed to be a lack of concern on the part of service for what was a major mechanical issue. The car gained mileage and the issue continued until we utilized the skills of one HARRY SCOTT. Long story..short. He never "put us off", but listened, responded, and acted. We knew we were communicating with a representative who understood our dilemma, was able to see the situation through our eyes and willing to take the next step. We couldn't be happier with the outcome. Congratulations to Harrisonburg Ford and the Ford Motor Company for it's association with Harry Scott, a man of obvious principle. More

Good Experience at Harrisonburg Ford Worked with James over the phone from a whole week (another state!) to get a car ready for me at a pretty good price. Additionally, when there was an error involved in the pricing (in my favor) I had been quoted, Harrisonburg Ford honored a verbal agreement I had with my salesman. While it may have cost me an hour at the dealership to get the whole thing sorted out, I appreciate the honesty and integrity that I experienced from the staff I interacted with. We are from Kentucky and were returning after a visit with our son in Vienna. Our truck broke down on the side of the road about 30 miles away from Harrisonburg. I found the name of the Ford dealer the with our son in Vienna. Our truck broke down on the side of the road about 30 miles away from Harrisonburg. I found the name of the Ford dealer there on my phone, and when we called they gave us the name of a tow truck company. When we got to the dealership with the truck, the gentleman in the service department, whose name I don't remember, was very concerned and accomodating, When we discovered we would have to wait til late the next day (which was a Friday) for the part needed, he tried to find us a car to rent so we could continue our trip home and return after the weekend. That didn't pan out, so Justin Bowers, who had been talking to my husband about a vehicle they had on the showroom floor (which just happened to be the vehicle my husband planned on trading the truck for later this spring) drove us to and helped us get checked into a hotel. My husband and I discussed and researched the Explorer and decided if the price was right on both the new vehicle and the trade in, we would purchase the vehicle the next day. Justin came to the hotel and picked us up the next morning. We test drove the vehicle, and after some discussion, reached the price we had decided on the night before. We left that afternoon in a 2014 Ford Explorer, which we absolutely love!! Justin was very thorough in explaining the features, and spent the time to set up our phones, install the door code, and several other things to make our life easier!! We feel he definitely went above and beyond in helping us. We spent a lot of time in the dealership, both while waiting to see what was wrong with our truck, and then purchasing the new vehicle. Everyone, and I mean, everyone, in that dealership at some point spoke to us. Everyone was very friendly and very helpful. I have never been anyplace where every person in the business treated their customers with such friendliness and respect. We won't be purchasing another vehicle for quite a while, but I would definitely consider stopping there again after a visit with our son to see what they had available when we do decide to purchase. This dealership has definitely set the bar high for all the other dealerships!! We couldn't have asked or expected to be treated any better than we were!! More
