Unethical Dealership I recently purchased a new vehicle here. The experience was not one that will allow me to recommend them to anyone. My FICO score is considered exce I recently purchased a new vehicle here. The experience was not one that will allow me to recommend them to anyone. My FICO score is considered excellent and my credit is in pristine condition. Despite telling them that I would only consider NMAC financing, that my current vehicle was financed with my bank and that I was pre-approved for a new purchase; my credit was pulled and sent to EIGHT different banks resulting in 8 credit inquiries. I was offered 84 months financing for the same monthly payment as what my bank offered at 72 months; which means that the interest rate that they tried to hide was extremely inflated. After pressuring me and trying to convince me that this was a ‘deal’; I walked away. When I returned a day later, I received the 1.9% interest rate from Nissan that should’ve been offered from the start. Unfortunately, it doesn’t end there. I was told that the vehicle that I purchased had certain features. For 2 days the salesperson pretended to help me figure out how to ‘activate’ these features. On day 3, after several calls the previous two days to my salesperson and on his day off; I spoke with the sales manager only to learn that these features were not available with my model. He assured me that he would look into things and give me a call back later that day. To date, I’ve heard nothing from him. On day 5, I was contacted and notified that a portion of my paperwork was misplaced and that they needed me to come in to re-do it. If I could return this vehicle and sever my relationship with them, I would. But...now, I’m stuck with a vehicle that doesn’t meet all of my needs. The only response that I’ve received is an offer from my salesperson to ‘trade’ me out of it; which sounds like an opportunity to make more money. Completely unethical. More
