Do NOT purchase a vehicle from Shottenkirk Toyota! !! I wish I would have gotten onto their Facebook page and read everybody else's comments before doing business with them. We are from out of state an !! I wish I would have gotten onto their Facebook page and read everybody else's comments before doing business with them. We are from out of state and came in to purchase a vehicle for our daughter. The day after we purchased the truck, the check engine light came on and we discovered that the back up camera didn't work so I called the salesman who instructed us to bring it in the following Monday. This cost us to drive an hour, each way back to the dealership only for them to tell us that there was nothing they could do to help us. Now I'm from California and in California we don't do business that way. If a vehicle goes on the lot it's been inspected, and it is ready to be sold, and all parts should be working or at a minimum, it is should be disclosed to the buyer what is not working. After receiving the first payment from the finance company we were alerted to a purchase price of $10,000 more than we had expected. Upon calling, Justin, the finance manager, who then explained that we were charged for some VIP package which we had never heard of until I had a conversation with him on the phone. They also got us for $3600 maintenance package, which in his office, we declined every maintenance package that had been offered to us. Buyer beware!! Do not do business with these people. They are not in the customer service business. They don't care about their customers. More
