Not bad. The only downside is they were very sly about
adding "mandatory fees". The LoJack, some extra body cover, you know, all that ridiculous stuff they could not sell before the pandemic. Other Acura

Yes! Nobody has called us back yet! Only get this automated response. We want our prorated refunds that we have been trying to obtain for several months from you only to find out you still haven’t submitted the paperwork to the administrator of the warranty or the GAP administrator! My husband provided everything to Ideen in person three months ago!!! Nobody is calling us back or doing anything about this and if needed I will be contacting the FTC to file a complaint with them cause I can see this is a trend with this dealership. It’s unfortunate you treat people like this.

Yes if they will actually call us back that would be nice. You have my information since I have left multiple messages. In talking to the administrator for the warranty the other day I found out Ideen NEVER submitted the cancellation forms. I can only assume he didn’t for the GAP cancellation either. We want our refunds asap and you can recoup your losses from the administrators once Ideen does his job and actually cancels the products.

Provide us the prorated refund for our ur warrant and our GAP policy. The cancellation should be dated to when we traded the vehicle back in July! My husband signed everything in person and provided Ideen with the odometer statement on 10/4/21. He did nothing with it according the the administrators they never received the paperwork. Provide us the refunds and recoup the administrators portions after the fact. I work in the auto finance industry and will continue to escalate this if we don’t get a check soon. I will have no problem removing all my complaints if you do so

Also, someone at the dealership made a mistake and listed the wrong odometer mileage on all official documents including the Carfax. This caused a very stressful situation for me as I tried to get the title and other paperwork corrected after the purchase.

At the time I purchased the car, I did not have a positive experience working with the salesman or the finance department. If you would like to win back some of my trust, you can refund the money I overpaid for services done to the car before I bought it. These were services I did not request or agree to have done. Please read the rest of this email to understand my request.
The salesman added $1299 for the XZLION treatment to the vehicle and $349 for SMART ID. When I asked what the SMART ID was, I was told it was a program through the state of Illinois to track stolen vehicles. When I inquired if it was a required program, the salesman answered, "Yes". Upon further research, I have learned that this is just a way for car dealerships to make money on a used car purchase. The etching of the VIN number is NOT required by the state of Illinois. In fact, people can etch their own numbers with a kit from Amazon for $20! This was a lie and a way to cheat customers. Also, I was forced to pay for an expensive treatment to the exterior and interior of the car for $1299. I did not order this, but was told I had to pay for it since the treatment had already been done. Again, this is just another way to gouge the customers. I feel like this dealership is dishonest in the way it deals with customers. In addition, the fact that a mistake was made on the odometer was a major issue. If the odometer number is wrong, that leads the customer to believe that there has been some changing and fudging of numbers. In fact when I called to report this discrepancy, the salesman laughed at me. I felt like I was being condescended to and mistreated. No one could figure out how to learn the correct odometer number for the car that I purchased on the day it was purchased. No one ever apologized for the problem caused by the odometer mistake. Overall, this was a very negative experience for me.

I didn’t initially but when I did ask questions, both Sam and Ideen were very helpful and knowledgeable. I went there near closing time thinking that I was just dreaming that I could possibly purchase an Acura. In spite of that, nobody ever made me feel like I was holding them up and Ideen tried different ways to help get me financed. I drove home with my extremely happy kids in a used Acura RDX!! Since then, my old car loan was properly paid off and I even got a small overpayment refund, and I just made my first new loan payment a couple of weeks ago!
Overall, I appreciate the time these guys took to make sure everything was ok, and they were very patient and responsive throughout the process, and that’s worth a lot in my book.
