I wasn't sure if I was quite ready to buy a car yet and my wife is actually the one that convinced me to pull in and test drive a truck or two that I liked. Well, after looking over the lot she told m and my wife is actually the one that convinced me to pull in and test drive a truck or two that I liked. Well, after looking over the lot she told me to go in and just see what kind of numbers they could come up with. I'm really happy that I did. JC was not laying on pressure and he seemed to genuinely care about us as a customer and also was really "into" the products he sells (obviously, he loves Toyota's as much as he should since he's selling them). He had the facts and the social skills and (thankfully) the number I needed to hear. I really got a great deal. The most amazing part is that their computers were down. They were dealing like the "old days"...pen on paper and a handshake. He had to put a lot of faith in me as a buyer that I wasn't blowing smoke about my income and what I could pay for the truck. This was one of those rare instances where the dealer actually had to trust the buyer more than the buyer had to trust the dealer. Well, needless to say, I'm a "hand-shake is my word" kind of guy and so is JC, so it all worked out just as expected. The two "Seans" (Shawn Skalski and Shaun Williams) are also a couple great guys to work with. Just down to earth and easy going. No pressure and easy to talk to. Mr. Skalski got me drooling over ad-ons and Mr. Williams had all the paperwork in order the following Monday when I was able to go back in to sign on the dotted line.
