Unfortunately, purchasing our new 2026 BMW X5 xDrive50e from BMW of Tampa has been an extremely disappointing experience. On delivery day, I noticed the VIN on our paperwork was incorrect and questioned from BMW of Tampa has been an extremely disappointing experience. On delivery day, I noticed the VIN on our paperwork was incorrect and questioned it. I was assured it was correct. It wasn't. The dealership had used the VIN for a completely different BMW we had previously considered rather than the vehicle we actually ordered. Our sales and finance paperwork had to be redone. Then our BMW ID/ConnectedDrive would not activate, preventing us from using features including the phone-as-key functionality. We were told to wait 24–48 hours. After it still didn't work, BMW of Sarasota advised us this was not normal and appeared to be an activation issue requiring the selling dealership. Resolving it involved additional trips, days of inconvenience, poor communication, and repeated follow-up. Unfortunately, the problems continued with registration. After having to follow up as our temporary registration was expiring, my husband subsequently received a notice from Florida DHSMV regarding proof of insurance and warning of potential action against his driver's license if not corrected. This was especially frustrating because BMW of Tampa had our State Farm insurance information at the time of purchase. I contacted management, including Dominic Harper and Finance Director Ryan Wolfe, regarding this latest issue and requested an explanation. The lack of timely communication and accountability throughout this experience has been extremely disappointing. Mistakes happen. What is unacceptable is experiencing problems at virtually every stage of a new vehicle purchase and repeatedly having to chase the dealership to get them resolved. Buying a new BMW should have been exciting. Instead, this experience has left me frustrated and regretting where we chose to purchase the vehicle. Based on our experience, I would not purchase another vehicle from BMW of Tampa and cannot recommend this dealership. More

Recently bought a used CPO car from this dealership. Worked with them online and over the phone as they had a car that I was specifically looking for. BMW B7 , I have received the car and it is not as described at all. The team let a car that was supossedly recondition to BMW specification and by the salesman LIKE NEW ship out of the dealership with the following comments from the shipper. " Oil and dirt mark all over the car, 40 small paint chips just on front half of car, damage to the front bumper painted over, 40 + dimples in the paint and lastly front spoiler has damage on bottom." Once received I would add inside had zero detailing done to it, I have been working with my sales rep to in his words "make this right" Have spoken to the General sales manager who assured me he would make it right and left a message for the GM... With the exception of the sales rep crickets. Car is now 3000 miles from the dealership! Should have known better you would think a business would want to make it right? Good luck to you, I wish you the best. More
