What a great buying experience Volvo of the Triad and Salem Kirby…. What a pleasant car buying experience my wife and I had at this dealership. We live an hour and a half away, but Volvo of the Triad and Salem Kirby…. What a pleasant car buying experience my wife and I had at this dealership. We live an hour and a half away, but it was absolutely worth the trip to purchase our 2016 Volvo XC90. Salem Kirby is fantastic. She helped me with every step of the process so when we arrived, we were ready to take delivery. Highly recommend Salem to anyone looking for a Volvo. No pressure, very responsive, no games… The entire staff was friendly, courteous, went out of their way to introduce themselves to us while there. They have a program called Family First and it seems to carry over to the way the staff treats each other and their clients. Selection of XC90’s was significantly better than the other two dealerships in the region where I live. Everything was EXACTLY as described and promised. The paperwork process was awesome as they are using a new desktop screen and eForms for all your documentation, then give you electronic copies on a Volvo USB stick. James Fordham did a fantastic job getting us through the paperwork process smoothly. Scott Roten helped us with the tutorial on the features of the XC90. Stayed past close to make sure my wife was comfortable and didn’t have any more questions… Thanks Salem Kirby for making such a great first impression with our first Volvo purchase! More

Excellent experience. Worth the trip! My wife and I nearly gave up on the Volvo brand. Despite having over 14 years worth of Volvos and well over 200k miles in our family in Volvos, Volvo My wife and I nearly gave up on the Volvo brand. Despite having over 14 years worth of Volvos and well over 200k miles in our family in Volvos, Volvo of Cary and Weaver Brothers were enough to have us looking at other makes to replace our XC60. Thankfully, my wife spotted a used XC90 on Volvo of the Triad's website and we got in touch with Scott Roten there. Scott understood that we were 90 minutes away and we were able to quickly work out a very fair deal based on information we mutually agreed upon. It was quick and easy to arrive at terms on Tuesday. On Thursday morning, we took the 90 minute ride out to the dealership. We were immediately impressed by the clean, open, modern show room and Scott had our car cleaned and ready for a test drive. After a quick, simple process, we all decided to proceed with the deal. No pressure, no hassle, not last-minute BS, just a pleasurable experience. James was also a pleasure to work with and the digital tools he uses to close the documentation made everything quick and simple. Moreover, it gave us confidence we wouldn't have any errors or last-second issues. I honestly can't say enough about how much better the experience was at Volvo of the Triad. Scott told us he wanted to earn our business and every single person in that building lived up to that promise of EARNING the business. They honestly kept us in the Volvo brand - the Swedes should be thrilled. I have no doubt I'll be back and I look forward to sending many local people from the Cary area out his way. The 90 minute ride was MORE than worth it. More
