I just purchased a 2018 Porsche from Delray Buick GMC. Jim Fix and his manager, Alan gave us a great price on the vehicle and gave us a very fair trade-in price for our 2017 Nissan Maxima. Not a Good Tru Car Experience A Tru Car quote should mean a smooth, fast buying experience at the dealership. This was not. Although I was a cash buyer and had a firm quote from Tr A Tru Car quote should mean a smooth, fast buying experience at the dealership. This was not. Although I was a cash buyer and had a firm quote from Tru Car, I was haggling with the people here for over three hours. The dealer fees, including the electronic filing fee, were included in the Tru Car quote. However, the business manager tried to add $800 to the price for what he called "government fees". When I asked him to detail these fees, he got flustered and could only say they have no control over these state fees. When I threatened to cancel the deal, he ended up reducing the "government fees" to $300. So, I ended up paying $300 over my guaranteed Tru Car price. This is my second experience with Tru Car. The first one, in 2015, was excellent. This time, I was very disappointed. More
