Graduating from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Marketing Management, I didn't know the automotive industry was my next step. However, the last 18 years have proven very enjoyable, challenging and rewarding. After serving in both Parts and Service for a Ford Dealership in Nebraska, my family and I moved to Kansas. Holm Automotive has been my home ever since, 11 years and counting. My favorite part has always been the customers and helping you feel at ease with our dealership. I have purchased 7 vehicles from Holm Automotive over a decade long and I keep going back like I did to purchase my newest vehicle, because of customer loyalty and friendships I have made over the years. decade long and I keep going back like I did to purchase my newest vehicle, because of customer loyalty and friendships I have made over the years. Walking into Holm's is like walking in the front door to your own home. It is relaxing, friendly, positive and an a overall positive experience each and every time! I use the service department to maintain my vehicles and get top notch professional care and everyone greets you with a warm welcome and asks you how you are doing. If you need a loaner vehicle or rental they are right on top of it. I have used the auto body department for a fender bender I had and they restored my vehicle at that time back to better than original condition. This dealership is a no pressure dealership. They give you the best experience you deserve. Hunter is my salesman and does an outstanding job! A+A+A+A+A+ Pat makes the buying process quick and easy! A+A+A+A+A+A+A+ Tim is always friendly and checks on his customers and smiles and warm! a shout out to the service team at Holm auto center in Abilene KS..on 7-30-13 I was on travel for business..when my 04 chevy durmax was having issues with my truck losing and gaining power..i called Holm Abilene KS..on 7-30-13 I was on travel for business..when my 04 chevy durmax was having issues with my truck losing and gaining power..i called Holm and got ahold of a gentleman by the name of brian in the service department..explained I was a pilot car and on my way to Michigan..brian told me how to get to him from where I was at..and he would get me in right away to see what the issue was with my truck..lucky it was a simple fix and did not require a lot of down time..because in this business if your wheels are not turning you are not earing..so end result brian got me going again rite away making my driver happy so he would not have to get a replacemt escort..so job well done HOLM auto center :) sandy with AMC Pilot More

As my family and I were returning to the greater Cincinnati area from a 12 state, 5000+ mile trip through the southwest, my 2003 Chevy Trailblazer suddenly lost power and the ability to drive at exp Cincinnati area from a 12 state, 5000+ mile trip through the southwest, my 2003 Chevy Trailblazer suddenly lost power and the ability to drive at expressway speeds. This happened on a Friday evening. We limped off the exit in Abilene, Kansas, 1000 miles from our final destination. After checking into a hotel, I searched for the nearest repair shop. Luckily, the Holm Automotive dealership was only a couple of doors down from our hotel which was right off the expressway. On Saturday, the service department diagnosed the problem to be the failure of the catalytic converter. Since a 2003 Trailblazer catalytic converter is not a standard stock item, Jamie Avers and his staff pulled out all the stops to help me find a replacement part. Although I ended up not getting the car repaired at their shop, I was impressed with the effort the Jamie went through to try to find the part and get it to the shop before they closed. I highly recommend this shop based on their customer service and willingness to help. More

I never been to Tim Holm Auto Center before and it was like arriving at a 5 star luxury hotel. The Tim Holm associates went out of their way to make my dealership experience a positive and memorable one like arriving at a 5 star luxury hotel. The Tim Holm associates went out of their way to make my dealership experience a positive and memorable one. I was greeted by Jamie and Chuck in service who were pleasant and made my first impression long lasting. I could not believe that people travel 3 hours to get their car serviced by Tim Holm Auto Center. I can understand why after my first visit. The receptionist went out of her way to make sure my coffee was to my satisfaction. I kept thinking that I was in Starbucks. No kidding. Matt Holm I found to have great knowledge about his product and did not talk down to me but rather with me throughout my visit. Tim Holm was out and greeting customers and talking to everyone. That is most unusual. Most dealers hide in their office. This guy was actually out working with customers. I can see why Tim Holm Auto Center has such a strong repeat customer base. It's the best experience I have ever had and will recommend Tim Holm Auto Center to all my Kansas friends. Great Job Tim Holm. Bill Miller More

The reason I have given it a high rating for customer The reason I have given it a high rating for customer service is because we were 150 plus miles from home heading east on I-70 near Salina on a The reason I have given it a high rating for customer service is because we were 150 plus miles from home heading east on I-70 near Salina on a trip that would go through several states, (needing to get to KY the next evening) when our car started acting up. We were able to get to the next town which was Abilene and found Holms Automotive Center but they were getting ready to close for the day. Jamie and the mechanic were willing to stay longer to check out our car offering us great customer service!. The reason I have rated it high for quality of work is because the mechanic was very thorough in testing it to make sure he knew what needed to be done to fix the problem. The service and work was efficient and effective. The workers and staff were all very friendly and courteous even when it was almost closing time, They went beyond their responsibility in recommending some options for motels, and places to eat.and by offering rides to and from the motel while our car was getting fixed! The next day everything went as planned and our overall experience with this business was terrific.The price was even much lower than was anticipated. Later in the day we were pleased and surprised to get a phone call from Jamie wondering how the car was working. We have not had any problems with the car since! We are so pleased with the professional and good service we were given and would definitely recommend this place to others! More

While having the oil changed and vehicle inspected on a 2009 Chevrolet Impala at another Chevrolet dealer, I was informed as follows: "During inspection noticed play in the RF wheel bearing notified cus 2009 Chevrolet Impala at another Chevrolet dealer, I was informed as follows: "During inspection noticed play in the RF wheel bearing notified customer. Customer elected not to fix at this time Quoated price $608.36" This is an exact quote written on the ticket. My wife and I purchased the car new at this dealer. Shocked, I left this Chevrolet dealer and drove to Holm Automotive, another Chevrolet dealer, the same afternoon. I was introduced to Jamie Avers, a service consultant. After telling him the problem, he pulled the car into service and started looking on the computer. After verifing my name, he told me how much it would cost by making a zero with his fingers. He printed off the powertrain limited warranty information for me and my wife to have. He told me that the work could be done immediately. In less than an hour, I had gone from no offer of any warranty service and a cost of over six humdred dollars out of my pocket to zero dollars. While waiting for the repair in the customer waiting area, Mr. Tim Holm came and introduced himself, wanted to know my name and we had a friendly discussion. The repair on the Chevrolet Impala was completed in about an hour that afternoon and all of the people which I interacted with were very professional and friendly at Holm Automotive Center Inc., Abilene, KS. I hope that this review has answered the "Why" and that it will be accepted. More

I went to Holms with my pickup,and discussed putting a new set of tires on . Chuck Loader set me up a time and they had my tires on, had to replace 2,low air sensors on the tires. I drove the for day or so but low tire light would not stay off. Chuck called a near by Dodge dealer and set up a time for me to take it there ,to check the sensors. They had to be replaced with Dodge senors.Chuck had to do alot of calling and other paper work ,and dealing with the other sensors from the other dealership,and returning the ones they had put in.When all was said and done,My truck rode super on the new tires and i got a great price on them.Two or three weeks later i reciecved a check in the mail for the difference in the price of the sensors.I thought Chuck treated me great . I got a great deal on my pickup tires.A month or so later i called service and Jamie Avers worked with me on a set of tires for my car. I got a great deal on tem as well. I had problems with 2 the tires being defective.I had one blowout,they replaced it ,and i had another blowout, maybe 6 miles north of Holms. I called and told them what had happened and about 20/30 minutes they brought me a tire and followed me to Holms.Within a few minutes Gary Hassselman had looked at the tires and with Jamie,and Kit they took my car in and put 4 new tires on my car. There is alot more to my bad luck story but when you have bad luck like mine,You could not ask for or find A better group of Guy and Girls to help you out with fast and great service like Tim Holms Auto and the service Tech,s with Gary Hassleman. More

There were two reasons I returned to purchase a vehicle. Ross is a sales man who is easy to visit with. He has kept be posted for over a year now on various vehicles and never tried to pressure me into a sa Ross is a sales man who is easy to visit with. He has kept be posted for over a year now on various vehicles and never tried to pressure me into a sale. Very professional. Also, I met Tim the owner and watched him walk though the dealership. I appreciate the owner visiting with me. The other reasons are Jamie and Brian who do an excellent job of getting my vehicles fixed to include my Ford. They communicate well and advised me of the needed repairs and what the cost was going to be. They also completed all repairs in a very timely matter. I had arranged financing before coming to the dealer. However, Pat beat that rate and was able to handle the compete deal in house. Thanks for the great service. I will recommend this dealership to anyone. More
