Terrible Service I dropped my car off Thursday morning September 27th at 10:40 am for a scheduled appointment for a Friday 8:00 am appointment to change oil, rotate ti I dropped my car off Thursday morning September 27th at 10:40 am for a scheduled appointment for a Friday 8:00 am appointment to change oil, rotate tires and to check a heating issue. They never called to inform me of any issues or to let me know if the car was ready for pickup. I came to pick the car up and found out that it needed a turmsate to fix the heating issue. 8 More

Service for our Chrysler Town & Country Jami promptly took care of us. He asked us our concerns. We mentioned that our vehicle had been in twice within the past year & at least on one occasi Jami promptly took care of us. He asked us our concerns. As it turned out, the warranty was covered by the warranty so we had to pay our deductible Now our vehicle is sounding & running great & we are very happy about all that. More

Buyer Beware of the Service Department My husband and I had purchased a vehicle from Thomas DCJR a year ago. We chose the dealership, despite being 40 minutes away, because they had a speci My husband and I had purchased a vehicle from Thomas DCJR a year ago. We chose the dealership, despite being 40 minutes away, because they had a specific vehicle in stock that we wanted. We weren't exactly thrilled with the sales department, but this is about the service department. Since then we've had it there for two oil changes. The first was fine, but the second I was given an estimate time of forty-five minutes to an hour, including the complimentary wash. I sat there for two and a half hours. Upon inquiring with the lady at the service desk, I was told the service tech had just started refilling the oil, and the car wash would be additional time. Spoiler alert, I never got my car wash because I wasn't going to wait another hour (at that rate.) We had appointments for both oil changes. Recently we had our vehicle serviced at Thomas for a faulty shifter. We dropped it off on a Friday morning, and received a phone call by the afternoon informing us that the shifter was indeed broken, and would need replaced. We were told they had the part in stock. Later that day we were told that the part had been mislabeled and they needed to order the correct part. On Tuesday we called for a status update and were informed that our vehicle was ready. We arrived at the dealership (a 40 minute drive) only to be told that they couldn't find our name in the system, then were told our vehicle was sitting across the parking lot, still torn apart, not finished. We then were sent home with no answers. Wednesday we received a call that the shifter was on back-order and there was no ETA on the part, nor estimate for when our vehicle would be completed. Thursday rolls around and I called the dealership and spoke to Brian. I had a few questions regarding locating the part, and an average 'guesstimate' of how long parts typically take to arrive on backorder. I was met with a rude tone and short answers, as if he couldn't get me off the phone fast enough. One hour later, my husband calls and Brian also answers. My husband had the call on speakerphone, and I listened to a very polite tone, and Brian informed my husband that our vehicle was done, that the part had arrived, and we could come pick up our vehicle. Keep in mind, that I had called an hour prior and was given none of this information. When we picked up our vehicle, the drivers side front door was covered in oily fingerprints (we have white paint, it was very noticeable) as was the shifter and steering wheel. Point being, we will never be returning to this dealership for sales, nor service. More

Helped an Out of Towner While traveling from Wisconsin to Michigan, my almost new Dodge Ram (6400 miles) had a horrible computer/electronics collapse. Got off road in Indiana While traveling from Wisconsin to Michigan, my almost new Dodge Ram (6400 miles) had a horrible computer/electronics collapse. Got off road in Indiana (it was an emergency) because all systems were failing, including shifting. AAA towed me to nearest Dodge dealership in Highland Indiana, a city I have never been. It was Friday at around 3pm. Service person Jamison said he couldn't do much then but would have crew on duty Saturday try to help. Loaned us a vehicle, we went on. The Saturday service person Kelly kept in touch. The mechanic on duty got the vehicle operational; we went back to meHighland and went home. We still don't know what precipitated the problem. I am following up at home. I'm 72 years old. This was the best and most courteous car dealership I have ever had help me. Other dealers could learn something from these people. Geoff Van Remmen More
