High-Pressure Tactics and Undisclosed Vehicle Defects (2025 Mercedes C300 AMG Line) I experienced highly questionable business practices and evidence of undisclosed vehicle damage during a recent tran (2025 Mercedes C300 AMG Line) I experienced highly questionable business practices and evidence of undisclosed vehicle damage during a recent transaction attempt at Audi of Ft. Myers. Pressure Sale: I contacted the dealership on 12/2/25 to view a 2025 Mercedes C300 AMG Line ($38k list price). Sales representative Sam immediately rushed me, claiming another buyer was coming at 2:00 PM, pressuring me to skip lunch and work quickly to place a deposit, which I did. Suspicious Comment: We agreed to a $40,900 out-the-door price. Upon arrival that evening, and during the final inspection, a non-sales staff member (Finance Guy) joked aloud, "Amazing Car for being in a huge accident." Sam quickly dismissed it as a joke. Discovery of Defects: After completing the purchase and driving home 100 miles, I immediately noticed multiple red flags that aligned with the "accident" comment: Poor Repair/Repaint: Close inspection revealed obvious paint defects on the hood, including inconsistent orange peel and contaminants, indicating a non-factory repaint (collision repair). Alignment Issues: The steering wheel was slightly off-center, and the car pulled faintly to the left while driving straight on the highway. Mechanical Sound: I heard a faint, cyclic motor struggling sound while idling. Immediate Reversal: The next morning (12/3/25), I contacted the GM, Jared, and Sam, listing all the defects and demanding an explanation. I also froze the payment funds via my bank. The GM immediately demanded the car be returned that same day. Two hours later, an employee showed up, took the car, and handed me a full refund check and cash for $41,900—completing the transaction reversal instantly without attempting to inspect or fix any issues. Lack of Customer Care (Insurance): During the abrupt retrieval of the car, I was never advised to cancel the insurance policy I had started on the vehicle, requiring me to address this several days later after receiving the final, vague email from the GM. Missing Documents: Upon completing the transaction, I was not provided with any copies of the signed transaction documents, including payment breakdown or proof of purchase/payment methods (check, cash, credit card). Lack of Transparency (Vague Email): GM Jared followed up with a vague email stating only that it was "not in the best interest for the dealership to continue our transaction." The high pressure to buy quickly, the sudden and aggressive reversal of the sale immediately after defects were noted, and the immediate, full refund strongly suggest the dealership was aware of undisclosed damage and was attempting to avoid liability. I highly recommend caution when dealing with this dealership, and performing a thorough third-party inspection. More

I have purchased several vehicles from Audi Fort Myers going back to 2008. It is a very well run dealership from sales to service.
