On 1/14/2024 I experienced complete engine failure in my 2023 Silverado ZR2 at 5,290 miles. This failure was covered by warranty, but my surprise and disappointment was beyond explanation. I never expected 2023 Silverado ZR2 at 5,290 miles. This failure was covered by warranty, but my surprise and disappointment was beyond explanation. I never expected engine failure in a brand new vehicle. It occurred on a Sunday and on a whim I texted Greg James who was the sales rep I worked with. He actually replied and expressed his understandable and assured me they would get it fixed and get me in a loaner. I was in a loaner the next business day. Stephen from the service department provided me with updates as best as he could and was understanding and patient with me throughout the entire process. Greg also checked in with me and sought out updates for me. There was a delay securing some parts to compete the work and that was communicated to me. Beginning of week 5, Stephen let me know they expected to have the work done by the end of week on 3/1/2024. True to their word the engine was completely replaced and ready for pick up on 3/1. I have put 1600 miles on the new engine and all has been well so far and I’m beginning to trust my dream truck again. Thank you Eldorado Motors!! More
