Upon arrival everything is in excellent condition including the ladies bathroom. The waiting room provides a power station, tv and a coffee station. I’m updated on my car service (no surprises). On 1/12/2024, I was headed out of town for a family emergency. Minutes before getting on the interstate, I noticed my air conditioner was not working properly. I had a minimum of a 5-hour drive ahead o emergency. Minutes before getting on the interstate, I noticed my air conditioner was not working properly. I had a minimum of a 5-hour drive ahead of me and I knew it would not be wise to get on the road without my AC working properly. I took my chances to delay my travel by a few hours and brought my 2021 Nissan Rogue to Bayou Nissan in New Orleans East at approximately 1:25pm. I explained my situation and Jason advised me he would get it taken to the back to get looked at. Initially, I was told they may have to keep it for a few days given it was an AC issue. My family emergency was way more important so I begin making preparations to leave my vehicle and go get a rental. However, Jason noticed the urgency and took my vehicle to the back where Technician Dallas D. ran some tests and discovered a low voltage error code. Bayou Nissan was advised that due to the low voltage, my AC went into Safe Mode which prevented the compressor from coming on. After charging my battery, retesting and recharging my battery again, it finally passed the test the second time. At approximately 3:45pm, I was driving off in my vehicle with working AC! I am thankful for the warranty on my vehicle. I want to thank the staff at Bayou Nissan in New Orleans for accommodating me during my time of emergency. Kudos to Jason P. and Dallas D. and any other service member who may have helped with my repair service! More
