Our lease was about to expire and we were not able to find a suitable replacement. Because of that, we purchased the truck. Worst car buying experience ever. Pushy, unknowledgable salesman and finance. My vehicle should never have been put on the lot for sale before necessary repairs were made. Took 2 Pushy, unknowledgable salesman and finance. My vehicle should never have been put on the lot for sale before necessary repairs were made. Took 21 days to be able to drive my car off the lot after purchasing it due to a list of issues that kept arrising. Finance department wants nothing but to push their extended warranty on buyers. This company is suppose to be about providing a great experience for customers, that is another thing they shove down customers throats...my experience was terrible. I will never do business here again. More

Our first and last experience on buying a vehicle from Shottenkirk in Waukee. Jacob our salesman was the best. However, everything after that was not a good experience. Took the vehicle for a test drive w Shottenkirk in Waukee. Jacob our salesman was the best. However, everything after that was not a good experience. Took the vehicle for a test drive with barely any gas! Therefore, was unable to get it up to highway speeds. They force you to purchase their Vehicle Protection Plan that’s good for 6 months at the cost of almost $2,000. When we told them we didn’t want the VPP plan because we were going to do an extended warranty. No negotiation on removing the VPP of $2,000. After taking delivery, got to highway speeds and felt a bad vibration in the steering wheel. When braking, the brakes squealed like little pigs!! Have had the vehicle in 3 times now!! Vibration still there and they just put a band-aid on the brake issue by turning the roaters and trimming the brake pads and lubricanting them. Definitely will NOT be doing business with them ever again!! More
