Russ Bennett (Assistant Manager) argued with me when I told him they put the wrong connector (pigtail) on for my trailer hitch. He even told me that all he promised me was a trailer hitch. I told him I bought the 2.3 Consair because I wanted to be able to toe a heavier trailer. I told the sales people when I purchased the vehicle. He keep arguing with me instead saying something like "lets see what we can do" This was not the first time I had a problem with Plaza Lincoln and I have only owned the vehicle for a little over a month. After they installed the receiver for the hitch, they didn't have the connector as it was a new model and told me it would take approx. one month to get them in. A waited and waited but no one called. Not even to let me know it wasn't in yet. I had to call them (Mitchel Smith) the person who sold me the car 3 times just to have him call me back. The only one who seems to care was another sales person (Jay Bitzer) who did an exceptional job trying to correct the situation and he didn't even sell me the car. My recommendation would be if you want excellent care at this dealership, get a hold of the salesman Jay Bitzer. He seemed to care about the situation more than all of the rest there. I admit, I used some foul language (S....) and Russ Bennett told me he would throw me out if I used it again. Then when he was talking to a David Stone (General Sales Manager) he used the same word. He didn't like it when I asked him why it was OK for him to use that word but not me. I don't understand why Russ Bennett wasn't more caring about a problem they created. I did apologize to Russ Bennett before I left but he never apologized to me. Really left a bad taste in my mouth about his attitude. I only got really upset when they told me they weren't going to do anything about it because they didn't seem to know what I was even talking about. You would think that if your selling cars you would certainly know about the correct connector (pigtail) for a trailer hitch (receiver). Everyone who has ever hauled a trailer knows the difference between a 4 pin connector and a 7 pin connector. Especially when you are the Assistant Manager at the dealership. Maybe they should train their Managers better about Cars that they sell instead of just trying to '"JUST SELL A VEHICLE". More

They are deceptive, shady and work as a team Be very careful, ask MANY questions, don’t sign anything without quotes PROFESSIONAL written AND take these numbers home to review. Remember, they work together to scam and get the deal done FAST. There are very smooth and have done this many times. They conveniently shredded a trade-in quote that I accepted and signed. They told me there wasn’t such a paper! Then the trade-in quote was changed to be $2,800.00 LESS. There were many other practices that never should have happened. I wrote on The Villages Next Door Neighbor website and had 4 responses within the hours of 9pm and 10:00am the next day. That is a lot for a short period of time. I spoke to a much older man (Late 80’s) in the Colony Plaza parking lot who told me Plaza still owed him $300.00 from his purchase there from 3 years ago. Then spoke to a woman who said they conveniently placed their hand over important numbers. She called them on it. Plaza will try anything to get more money from the consumer. I talked to 6 different attorneys (3 were not Consumer Law, 1 had too many complaints with Plaza and 2 extremely helpful), Attorney General’s office and Seniors Against Crime. Most knew the Plaza name because of justifiable issues. I went back to Plaza with a folder full of documentation. They finally did correct some numbers, but they still took terrible advantage of me. So, was I happy with the outcome? No. The good through this, I will inform others to be very careful if you must deal with Plaza. I’ve had the car for 3 weeks now. The Attorney General referred my complaint to our local Seniors Against Crime. They want me to bring in all my documentation for their file on Plaza. I will be going there today. Feb 5, 2020. More

Excellent, Everyone knew their Role and got things done. I knew exactly what I wanted to buy, I arrived at 1pm. Jay Bitzer was my sales person and was very informative.
