My BMW history goes in line with my history. In 1967 my dad bought a BMW 1600 Alpina, because he couldn't afford a Porsche 911. From that point on, we became a BMW family, which translated in to only BMWs for over 58 years! Both I and my brother are in the BMW business. Me in sales since 1990, and my brother a Master BMW Technician since 1980. I own several models, including a 2023 i4 Electric car, a 2011 X5 35i, a 2015 3 GT, a 2008 M3 Convertible, a 2008 335i Coupe, an R1200 S motorrad, and an ultra-rare 1974 2002 Turbo! I recently ordered a BMW 230i from Otto's, taking delivery last Friday 1/15/20. Jay, a genuine car guy, was great to work with and made recommendations for my order based on my ownership history and delivery last Friday 1/15/20. Jay, a genuine car guy, was great to work with and made recommendations for my order based on my ownership history and expectations for the car. He communicated well with me throughout the order process, setting appropriate expectations regarding timelines, how to track the car's journey from Leipzig and across the Atlantic, etc. The buying process did not involve pressure at any point, including the Finance Manager discussion which was very unlike my last experience at another dealership. The car was well prepared and the delivery experience anticipated my excitement at getting this new vehicle. Jay followed up post-delivery to see how the car and I were doing, which I appreciated. Nice job. The car is great, by the way, a feisty performer and a joy to drive with its manual transmission and MSport sport suspension. More
