Best buying experience EVER! I have bought or leased cars for 25 years. They have all been Toyota's or Honda's. Recently, I had 4 days to turn in my Toyota leased car and get a new/used/leased car recently (end of April, 2017). I finally knew (after months of research), that I wanted a Subaru because of the AWD (travel to elderly parents in VT year round...over Killington), and option of a reliable low-profile vehicle for my older 85-pound golden retriever to jump into. Yes...I bought a car for my dog! And I could not be MORE thrilled with MetroWest! I had completed extensive online searches, reviews, and email queries, and then narrowed my search of dealerships to 4. I visited all 4 on Day 1. Phew! I slept deeply that night! On Day 2, I decided to own a new car instead of buy used or lease again. I also secured my loan financing at my credit union. Easy! On Day 3, I met with Ron Wynn at MetroWest to secure the deal. Though he was new to the dealership, Ron had worked in other dealerships and knew the "ropes" or knew how to find out fast! The manager, Jeff Ricard, "subbed in" when Ron was busy and made it a point to keep in contact with me throughout the process. The whole finance process was about 45 minutes, way less than my last 6-hour Toyota lease process! On Day 4, I met with Ron and Jeff and drove off with my wonderful new Impreza (with a good deal). I have been through the car buy/lease purchase many times for either myself or family members (who don't want to deal with the non-transparent process. They ask me because I do the research and am not afraid to be "ruthless" with dealers. I am shocked to say that for the first time, this purchase was easy, transparent, and fast! This dealership was "human" and customer-oriented. Wow! Not only that, Ron (and Jeff) took the time to answer my questions, return calls and emails, and check-in after the purchase to be sure all was okay. Honestly, after 25 years of either buying or leasing cars, I have to say that I am completely happy with a dealership and an outstanding salesperson! More

We had a slight hiccup with my insurance company but Mike and Jeff secured me a loaner for the weekend (with all the bells and whistles) and straightened it out first thing Monday morning. We will definitely be going back to MetroWest Subaru! More

Nick Villa was a very knowledgeable and helpful sales rep who patiently explained everything we wanted to know about the car, took us for a test drive and pointed out all the nice features of the car. The manager on duty was also very helpful and honest with us. They gave us a great deal on a car that we now enjoy driving. Buying a car is a daunting process, but this dealership did everything they could to turn it into a pleasant experience. I highly recommend them! More

On a recent Saturday in early February, we set out to find my wife a new Outback. After doing our pricing homework, driving around to couple of other dealerships, and getting some run around at a dealer you hear advertise quite a bit on the radio (not MetroWest!) we finally got the deal we wanted in Natick…we should have stopped at MetroWest first and saved ourselves 6 hours of our Saturday. Jeff Ricard assisted us with the sale and was very helpful and is an all-around good guy, plus is a Pearl Jam fan as an added bonus. We were pushing for an aggressive price, and Jeff got the deal done on our behalf and with a smile the whole time. The car we purchased was in transit from the factory, and Jeff kept us posted on its status from the time we put down our deposit until its arrival at the dealer a few weeks later. We picked up the car on a busy Friday afternoon at the dealer. Jeff took about an hour with us going through the various features the car offers so we knew how everything worked. I think that demonstrates that he is a stand-up guy and is committed to helping his customers after making the sale. Upon delivery, the new car was found to have a minor scratches on the windshield. Rather than try to hide it or explain away the problem, MetroWest proactively ordered new OEM glass, scheduled replacement a couple of days later, and set us up with a free loaner for the day. The problem was quickly fixed with zero drama. In my car buying experiences, post-sale service is the true test of how solid the dealer is, not how accommodating they are while parting you from your money. So, if you need a new car, go see Jeff Ricard at MetroWest. Once I save enough pennies I will be returning for an STI! More

Truth is, just the IDEA of car shopping brought on such stress and anxiety for me, that I did anything and everything I could to avoid it. But, as fate would have it, I found myself at MetroWest just a few days after parting ways with my old car. From the moment I walked into the dealership and met General Manager VJ Donnelly and Sales Associate, Jeff Ricard - I truly had a corrective experience. Thoughtful, intelligent, and kind - these professionals NEVER allowed a hint of anxiety to creep into the experience. In what felt like no time at all they worked with me to find exactly what I wanted in the exact budget I walked in with. Now in my new 2016 Impreza I am not only confident that my family and I are safe and secure in our new ride, but I'm confident in knowing EXACTLY where I can go to be treated like a truly valued partner. He was knowledgeable about the different models, gave me honest feedback with everything aspect of the car, and helped me negotiate the best price on my trade-in and the 2015 Impreza sport I was buying. It's now over 6 months later after the purchase and Metro-west and are still helpful (even after the sale) and I couldn't be happier. As long as I'm living in New England, I'll be buying Subaru's here. -Kevin More

Best car buying experience in 45 years I purchased a 2015 Subaru Forester dealing with Jeffrey Ricard. The buying experience was the best I have had in the 6 cars I have bought over the yea I purchased a 2015 Subaru Forester dealing with Jeffrey Ricard. The buying experience was the best I have had in the 6 cars I have bought over the years. I would describe the experience as low key, no pressure. Before and after a test drive, Jeffrey took the time to introduce me to the vehicle's equipment and how it works. I left telling him I would get back to him after I decided which of the compact suvs I wanted, after considering the competition. I was not bothered by phone calls or emails because he had not asked for them. I made an appointment a week later and made an offer to buy. Jeff came back with a counter offer which I accepted because it was a very very good price. When my wife and I picked up the vehicle Jeffrey introduced us to all the equipment and how it worked. He also took the time to sync our phones via bluetooth to the vehicle. I left feeling that they would be there for me any time I had questions. More

Patient, Helpful, Convenient and Attentive! My purchasing experience at Metrowest Subaru was quite the experience (in a good way!)! I began working with Nick about a month before the sale, check My purchasing experience at Metrowest Subaru was quite the experience (in a good way!)! I began working with Nick about a month before the sale, checking out the Forester and its features. After viewing it twice, I set up for an overnight test run. Nick was going on vacation and set me up with Jeff. Jeff had everything ready for us when we arrived to pick up the car, and was able to answer our questions easily. We went back a few days later to do the actual buying. Jeff's appointment had run longer than anticipated, and we did our actual negotiating with VJ. After we both made our opening offers, VJ offered us a price that was well within the range I wanted, and offered me a very fair price on my trade in. Working directly with management on this part of the process accelerated negotiations, and kept stress levels at a minimum (I can't say the same for other dealerships of other brands). While VJ was entering the sale data, Josh stepped right in to prepare our paperwork. He had the paperwork completed quickly, and we returned two days later (it was a Saturday) to begin the financial work. We sat with Michael, who put us right at ease and got us through the paperwork process quickly. We had no difficulty financing with Subaru, and he met our price expectations on extended warranty and service planning. Finally, it was time to pick up the car. Josh was assisting us with the registration, and went over the features and controls in the vehicle. I left feeling confident both about the buying process, as well as bringing my new Forester there for service. I never felt pressured or unfairly treated, and would happily recommend Metrowest Subaru to anybody who would like to experience car buying from a customer-first dealership! More
