I had an excellent experience working with Jerry over at Volkswagen of Oak Lawn. He was professional, patient, and never pushy throughout the entire process. Jerry truly listened to what I needed, took the time to answer all my questions, and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable with every step. His understanding and effort to get me the best option stood out. I also want to highlight Mike G—he was wonderful. They picked a great manager to assist Jerry, and together they made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Jeremiah was exceptional, he was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and helped me pick the right model for me. The fiance department was kind of rude, Shawn was very adamant about purchasing extended warr the vehicles and helped me pick the right model for me. The fiance department was kind of rude, Shawn was very adamant about purchasing extended warranty for tires, which I did not feel I needed. I was also told I could transfer my plates from my previous car and Shawn gave me new plates, he said I would have to renew my old plates which I was fine with because I am pretty sure it would have been cheaper to renew plates as opposed to buying new plates. I was told that I was purchasing a brand new vehicle with 0 miles. Upon arrival of the vehicle it had 131 miles. I did not make this an issue. Upon me purchasing this brand new 2024 Atlas SE W/Tech Peak Edit 0 miles. Upon arrival of the vehicle it had 131 miles. I did not make this an issue. Upon me purchasing this brand new 2024 Atlas SE W/Tech Peak Edition I experienced issues right out of the door. The issue had to do with the back windows going down more as I would go to let the windows up. Issues also with the rear view camera and display system static-king when I would start my vehicle up. My media system goes out and back on when it feels like it it’s times when I have to drive in silence due to this issue where I cannot turn my radio volume up at all on the media system or on the steering wheel. And the ultimate issue is how the vents blow out hot air while driving the vehicle and fogs the front window making it very hard for me to see while driving and this happens during both winter and summer. Also the most recent problem the car has been jumping and skipping when it feels like it and will stop for days and weeks and start all over again which has made it hard for the dealership to diagnose. The dealership has downplayed these problems telling me they had issue with the problems in the past I believe from other customers complaining about the same issue and that they are aware of the problems but have no solution. I don’t understand why the entire make of the vehicle is not on recall. Why are these vehicles still being able to be purchased. More
