The salesman I was working with and who I worked with previously that gave me a fantastic experience as a car buyer at McCord‘s was no longer there. He was Jim Lane. Several days of no communication so I reached out to the main number and was told he was no longer there, but no one at McCord‘s Vancouver Toyota bothered to reach out to me to continue communication on my current purchase. From that point on I never felt like someone was working for me as a customer but the minute my vehicle came in it was like here it is, take it and go attitude. I was told it was all cleaned up for me, which it was not. After I drove it away. I noticed the same piece of trash wadded up inside the van that was there the day before I went to look at it. Also yellow stickers were still on the rims and not cleaned up. Basically, nothing was done to prepare the car. My very first experience with McCord’s the wonderful salesman I was working with who suddenly disappeared sat in the vehicle and explained every button and connected me to every app. That is the reason I came back to McCord’s, because of the customer service. Sadly, my second experience, I felt rushed out the door and the person who was assigned to take over closing out with my vehicle, let it be known he had a next appointment and I suggested to go to that and he could come back to me, but he said no. Needless to say, there were many things that were not explained to me with the new vehicle and it was an easy decision that I will never return to McCord’s Vancouver Toyota to purchase another vehicle. More
