I approached Chad with a request for 12 new pickup trucks. I gave a detailed request, and Chad diligently provided a verbal quote of approximately $28k/unit. Chad then facilitated a call with the finance manager Jimi K. This was the beginning of horrible experience with Pete Moore's staff. I was very clear about the early nature of this deal, and honestly expressed my need for as much help as possible to structure property. Jimi was smug, pompous, and generally unhelpful from the start. He has very little ability to listen and adapt to customer requests. I requested a written quote from Chad to see the details of the previous verbal quote. Upon recept, I was shocked to see original quote had skyrocketed to the same amount listed online....this was approximately $5000 higher than quote. I immediately contacted Chad for an explanation. Upper management had completely modified due to some arbitrary fleet loyally him haw sales speak excuse. Chad had become a loyal messenger on a firing range. I never expected special treatment based on a volume fleet purchase. I would have expected the same for one unit. Customers would be better served looking to other Chevy dealers that follow the golden rule. I would be happy to further explain how poor business practices destroyed a $400,000+ deal with much more potential in the future. A Dodge dealership in Alabama with be sending Jimi a nice Christmas ham! More
