Everyone was on point - a completely smooth process from start to finish - I had been in the market for a new Kia for about 2 months and nobody would work with me or just sit down and explain things to me i start to finish - I had been in the market for a new Kia for about 2 months and nobody would work with me or just sit down and explain things to me in detail - all around great experience in my opinion at Kia of Carson - if you are in the market for a new Kia or car they are the “It” girl of Kia Dealerships. So my husband and I were in search of a bigger spacious vehicle. We headed towards Kia of Carson and our salesperson was Joey. As I had seen that online they had the Kia SX Sportage 2023 in wolf gray ( the color is so lovely ) told him we wanted to test drive the car. Joey mentioned ( I asked because I was so excited it was upfront parked ) that the model that was parked in the front was already being seen by a client & went on to look for the 2nd in-stock vehicle on the lots, 5 minutes passed as he went to look for it. I was telling my husband they probably sold the last one that's being sold right now :( as it did take a few more minutes. He returned with the same model vehicle, just not in the wolf gray. Took the vehicle for a test drive and loved it my hubby did more though. As we drove he mentioned he came to another lot ( old Kia location ) which had more vehicles. Joey even called his manager to ask him where the second in-stock vehicle was parked. As we drove in the lot we as well kept our eyes open for that model color with no luck. Joey kept calling this manager about where the vehicle could be in that lot. After 30 minutes I said ok let's try for the current model and color we test drove ( but my heart was set on the wolf gray color ), Joey gave it his all to find that particular vehicle I wanted. We walked towards the building to get those numbers and calculate my trade-in ( Mini Cooper ). I told him that the car parked in the front was the last model and probably the system hadn't been updated. Joey said yes could be but if the car wasn't being seen by a client I would give it to you with w/no hesitations. So I went ahead and asked him to please check if for sure the car was already getting paperwork done. He went to ask...and omg! I got so lucky, the vehicle was on hold for a client who wanted to see it at so n so time but they didn't. Joey and his Manager ( I don't want to misspell his name) made my trade-in process very smooth and answered all the questions I had. I would give 10/10. The experience was great and smooth, they went above & beyond. Thank you two for helping us in this process and being very understanding and patient with us since we also had an 11-month baby with us and Chuck( finance manager ) thanks very much for the great tips and for being patient and quick with our process Joey was my salesperson! I would recommend him! As he is new and I had question after question when he didn't know the answer he would consult with his manager, to which I appreciate that Brad even put my old license frame into my new car. Helped us navigate how to use features of the vehicle. Because he is known he also asks his coworkers for help which is a green flag. I know other salespeople would leave you to be or be or give misleading information. Joey also gave us his charger since my phone was completely dying/ CarPlay. Overall thank you! One week ago, my friend and I walked onto the lot and met with Joey Martin in sales. We spent time talking about cars and I test-drove the Niro. I liked it fine, however wasn't making a deal that day. We told Joey we'd be back. And I imagine he's heard that before, however we meant it. (We had been to 2 other dealerships, but we liked him, and Kia of Carson was the only dealership with the color and package I wanted). We returned yesterday and I drove a car home, however not in the color I, originally wanted. The color decision took a considerable amount of time... talked about, Facetime with my sister showing her the colors - all the while Joey exercised INCREDIBLE patience. And when I write it took time, I'm not exaggerating. The color decision was finally made... we went into "the room" with Joey and he made the deal, painless. He didn't try to up-sell, he listened, was kind, and was a true professional. If I have a friend looking to get a KIA, I would HIGHLY recommend patient, kind-natured, honest, and knowledgeable Joey (with beautiful & trusting eyes). *As for the dealership, those we spoke to were friendly, the space was clean, and the selection of cars on the floor was impressive. As a returning customer to this dealership they continue to earn my business over any other dealership. Joey Martin was the most professional, respectful, honest and easy to work salesmen we encountered. Th to earn my business over any other dealership. There was a bit of a disconnect in the beginning but he went out of his way to apologize and better our experience and that’s what inspired us to come in and work with him. He was very patient with my husband and I no matter how many questions we asked. He was never pushy, he never hovered or pressured. Something I appreciated the most is that he gave us time and space to discuss things together during our visit but always made sure to be readily available when we needed him. He guided us through every step of the way and did what he could to meet us where we wanted to be, while some others in our experience didn’t even care to try. Even after finalizing everything he took the time to help get my new car set up, teach us about all the new technology and show us how the app works all after closing hours on a rainy night. Couldn’t appreciate or thank Joey, his sales manager Alex and the finance manager Chuck enough for the positive experience we had! If you’re looking for a car please save yourself the headache and go see Joey at Kia or a Carson!! More
