The oil change was great, but I just needed a minor repair: window motor replacement. Took vacation from work, dropped the car on Thursday morning, and I was ready to wait until Sunday - but they info repair: window motor replacement. Took vacation from work, dropped the car on Thursday morning, and I was ready to wait until Sunday - but they informed me of a 5-7 lead time on parts. Therefore I have to make additional drive from Dallas to Dickinson TX. In the day of next day delivery options being widely available, it would be nice to have been offered that option - especially since the part was only coming from Dallas to Houston area. Perhaps the root cause of this problem is that when loaner cars are not offered by the dealer, there is therefore very little incentive to accomplish things quickly. I would have been willing to pay $30 for next day parts delivery, but it was not given to me as an option. The experience will influence my decision to go with Kia when I trade in next year. What if parts need to be shipped from Korea and there is no loaner car? Warranties are great, but speed of service and parts availability is very important consideration when there is no loaner car offered. More
