I refer to myself as Big John. I went to Cal State Fullerton and started in the automotive industry in 1987. I began working at Jim Curley GMC IN 2022. I truly love the car business and consider my co-workers my friends. They are the heart of the dealership. I am originally from Linden, N.J. and have lived in Toms Rivers since 1997 .I lived in California for 6 1/2 years, and my first real job was at Disneyland. That is where I learned that customers always come first. I've been married to my wife Barbara since 1992 and have twins Nick and Kaitlyn. Both college grads and both enrolled getting their masters in education and business analytics. . I'm proud to say that my wife and my kids are everything to me . My success is their success . I went into Jim Curley’s, Lakewood, in mid January, knowing exactly what I wanted. The vehicle, 2025 GMC Terrain, was in transit, and wouldn’t arrive at their Keyport location till mid February, which knowing exactly what I wanted. The vehicle, 2025 GMC Terrain, was in transit, and wouldn’t arrive at their Keyport location till mid February, which was fine because I still had a couple of months left on my current least. The sales manager, John Duncsak, was able to contact the Keyport dealership and put a hold on the vehicle, When my vehicle arrived, in the timeframe promised, the sales associate, Ed Smuda went over the vehicle with me, showing me all the bells and whistles, and made the process easy. I highly recommend Jim Curley’s and their fine staff with all of your car needs. More
