I had a few questions about a vehicle that showed up on the websi From the moment I first contacted Lou Fusz in St. Louis, I knew I was in good hands. I had a few questions about a vehicle that showed up on the website, but didn't have a lot of details regarding its current status. I asked Dave about the vehicle and he said he would investigate the situation and get back to me. He returned my call within 20 minutes and explained the situation. I really wanted to purchase a certain color (the one on the website), but the dealership had other colors on the lot. I made an appointment to test drive the vehicle. When I met Dave in person for my test drive, I was put at ease by his calm and warm personality. He knew the details of the car, he answered my questions honestly, and he treated me with respect. This last point was arguably the most important. I had previously visited Lou Fusz Subaru in St. Peters and Dean Team Subaru when looking for this vehicle. Neither salesman I worked with took me seriously or wanted to work with me to get the deal done. Dave was professional, courteous, and helpful the entire experience. On the morning of my appointment to purchase the car, I met with Dave and we walked through the numbers. I was hesitant about the monthly payment so he brought out Rick Summerfield to walk me through it. I had a lot of questions for Rick and he was extremely upfront. He helped me understand how the process worked and how my monthly payments would change based on the numbers. After speaking with Rick, I talked with Dave some more and we were able to negotiate to a more favorable price with the blessing of John Molloy. I had met John on the day of my test drive, and he too, treated me with respect, which meant a lot to me. The new price placed my monthly payments in a range that worked for me. Once I signed all of the paperwork with Dave, I went into Rick's office and signed everything with him. Rick, like Dave, was extremely honest. Both were unlike the usual car salesman/snake oil salesman that plague modern day dealerships. Rick walked me through all of the optional warranty/coverage purchases, but since he knew I wanted my monthly payment to be at a certain place, he didn't pressure me. After signing everything with Rick, I waited for the vehicle to return to the dealership from its final detail. Once it arrived, Dave changed the license plates from my trade-in, cleaned them to a pristine condition, and walked me through every single feature of my vehicle's interior features. He made sure my phone properly synced and more importantly, he made sure I was aware of a few tricky settings that I needed to adjust to my own personal liking. I first called Dave on a Wednesday morning. It was completely by chance that he was the one who picked up the phone, but boy was I glad that he did. I test drove the vehicle on Thursday afternoon. I purchased the car Friday morning. I could not have asked for a better vehicle purchasing experience. More

Can't be trusted I was quoted a lease payment that was $100 higher than what is advertised on their website. I was told that the payment advertised on the website was I was quoted a lease payment that was $100 higher than what is advertised on their website. I was told that the payment advertised on the website was incorrect. I told them that I know what the payment should be since I had already done the calculation. They said they would lose money leasing a vehicle at that payment and that I did not know what I was talking about. They said they would honor the price but continued to argue that the website was incorrect. This is the same monthly payment that has been advertised for months and it is still being advertised. If it is incorrect then why haven't they corrected it - because it is completely accurate. I beat their "incorrect" advertised deal at another Subaru dealer without even having to negotiate. These guys played with everything they could to manipulate the price but not everyone is as stupid as they think. You may think you are getting a good deal here but they will screw you a million different ways . They can't be trusted. Take your business elsewhere. More

Turned a tough situation into a great experience I HATE buying cars. But the Fusz team at Old Olive Street really deserves credit for making an experience that could have been tough, easy: Our family owned two Subarus purchased from Fusz: a 2012 Outback and a 2015 Forester. Two days before we were to depart to Europe for a month to attend our daughter's wedding the Forester was totaled and I needed to arrange a replacement by long distance. Mark Linneman in the collision center looked after my destroyed Forester. He retrieved license plates, loose change and several accessories, and kept them for me until we could return. After some online research I quickly concluded the 2016 Forester was the best choice (top pick at Consumer Reports, again), and contacted Stephanie through their website, as I had the first two times. She provided price and availability details on several alternatives right away. We completed all the arrangements using email and the web-based "chat" function. The car was ready the week we returned home, with all the business and other details settled exactly as we had discussed. Many thanks to the whole team! One additional note: The 2015 Forester performed incredibly in the crash that destroyed it. The front crumple zone did its job, ALL of the airbags deployed -- literally shredding the car interior -- and I walked away with only a bruise from the seatbelt. I say: buy a Subaru and live. More

Christopher went out of his way to find me the exact vehicle I was looking for. He is very knowledgeable about the products, very professional, patient, understanding, and accomidating. I felt no pressure at any time during the buying experience, either time. Clearly I would not have returned for a second purchase if my initial experience had not been so positive. Christopher did a very thorough job explaining the vehicle and was willing to spend as much time as I needed to understand the various aspects of my new Crosstrek. John the sales manager is also great and Stephanie who fields internet is wonderful. There is a great family like vibe in the dealership which makes the whole experience that much easier and smother. The finance guy was so respectful and no pressure. He introduced the various options for warranties, etc, but I never felt overwhelmed. I walked out of his office feeling great. All in all, I really cannot imagine a more positive buying experience. And I just realized that i haven't said that I got a very good price on my purchase. Service department is excellent as well. Good job Lou Fusz Subtaru, I love my new Crosstrek. More

Chris spent a lot of time explaining all of the features of this new car. In Sep 2014, I bought a Subaru Forester from Chris and I was so satisfied with that car and the deal that I got then, that I returned to the same dealer and the same sales rep this year. Chris knows the product that he sells and never exhibits an aura of pressure to buy. I have been satisfied with both of the cars that I bought from Chris. That is why I bought two in a row. This may not be my last purchase either, time will tell. No matter, I will return to Chris and his Subaru dealership. More
