Local Charlotte graduate, US Navy veteran. I started my selling career in 1973 at what was Tom Rutherford Ford, and have been here ever since. Past president of the Charlotte Rotary Club and past District Assistant Governor. My hobbies are most things that are in the out of doors. Mainly when it comes to mountain climbing: climbed in Alaska, Washington state, Georgia, Colorado and Ecuador. I need to mention my wife Laurie and our two Chocolate Labradors, Lacey and Katie.

Excellent and friendly environment I have dealt with Candy Ford and John Newland numerous times and have never been disappointed. Candy Ford's service department has taken care of not I have dealt with Candy Ford and John Newland numerous times and have never been disappointed. Candy Ford's service department has taken care of not only the Ford's I've owned but other vehicles as well. As for John Newland you couldn't pick a better salesperson. He is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. If there is anything he does not know about the vehicle he is quick to find out. I have and will continue to recommend Candy Ford and John Newland to anyone I know. More
