John, the salesman, was fair and professional and worked with me over the phone on purchasing one of their used vehicles. He had me send registration, license and insurance ahead of time and when I arrived, with me over the phone on purchasing one of their used vehicles. He had me send registration, license and insurance ahead of time and when I arrived, he had the car waiting. The employee who looked over my trade in was confrontational and accused me of not divulging an accident (there had been no accident). He was playing games—thought he could bully me into taking less on the trade. It didn’t work. The financial department employee, who was getting the paperwork filled out for the purchase, spent more time talking with another employee than working on my purchase, even though my salesman told him I had a 6 hour drive and to expedite the transaction. . I arrived at 1:45pm and didn’t get out of there until almost 5pm due to game playing on the trade in and lax, unprofessional behavior of the financial department employee. There was exactly two mini bottles of water in their waiting area— no snacks. I found it very unwelcoming and certainly didn’t make the long wait any more bearable. John seemed to be the only one there that valued the customer to any extent. I wouldn’t recommend driving an hour let alone 6 hours to buy a vehicle from this Lexus dealer. More
