I called the dealership service department to determine whether they had the part to handle a recall on my 2023 Explorer. I was told that the parts were available, and scheduled an appointment for December whether they had the part to handle a recall on my 2023 Explorer. I was told that the parts were available, and scheduled an appointment for December 29 to have the recall completed. I dropped the car off on December 28, and on December 29 the dealership called to say that they did not have the part and it would take 4 to 6 weeks to get that part. It seems to me that the fact that the parts were not available when I was scheduled to take my car in, could have been communicated to me so that I didn’t waste my time taking the car in for the recall. ford pass wasn't working, needed modem replaced. They claim they replaced the modem but a couple days later it doesn't work again. So I call to get it fixed and they said they can fit me in, in tw They claim they replaced the modem but a couple days later it doesn't work again. So I call to get it fixed and they said they can fit me in, in two weeks. So no defrosting the car for another couple of weeks due to a shotty repair job. Take your car somewhere else!! More
