I scheduled a recall inspection appointment and arrived on time. Because it was scheduled in advance and described as a recall inspection, I expected the visit to take approximately one to one and a half h on time. Because it was scheduled in advance and described as a recall inspection, I expected the visit to take approximately one to one and a half hours. The total time spent was about two and a half hours. While present solely for the recall matter, I received a marketing text message within minutes of arrival despite not consenting to sales communications. I understand the need for this, but I was not visiting by choice and did not want sales communications during this inconvenience. Upon leaving, a screw was discovered in my tire and the tire was audibly losing air. There was no tire issue when I arrived. What should have been a brief recall visit ultimately became a 6-hour disruption and a $300 expense. I should note while waiting at the tire shop my tire became flat while waiting my turn, it was quite obvious this screw was picked up at the dealership. This follows a prior oil change appointment that also exceeded the quoted timeframe. Based on these experiences, I will not be returning. This dealership is a part of the NorCal auto group, serving all Hyundai dealerships in the Sacramento area. Would recommend others travel outside the area to seek a dealership not affiliated with this group. The travel time alone to another, like Vacaville, will still be less of a time commitment than my previous experiences. More

Don’t go here! My car is ruined after getting it back for a recall. The ground wiring was never put back after they took it apart. They won’t assume any responsibility and every month I’m having to replace my headlight, brake lights and anything with a bulb. My overhead light in back even caught on fire and melted everything around it. I leased this car and as soon as I bought it I had a recall. I took it in to the Folsom lake Hyundai location and once I got it back, it was never the same. I asked them to fix it and they said there was nothing wrong. I then took it to another mechanic and he said Folsom lake Hyundai totaled my car. I was left with nothing. My car was always maintained by a mechanic at the Hyundai dealership and every time I took it back after the recall they kept saying nothing was wrong and they wouldn’t even try and explain why all of my lights keep exploding in their sockets! Then to find out that the mechanics there didn’t even try to trouble shoot the problems with my car every time I took it back sent me to the moon! The ignorance, unprofessionalism and down right incompetence that was displayed should have put these people in jail. If I had known how to hold them responsible before, I would of absolutely taken them to court. They are criminals and their licenses should all be taken. Folsom lake Hyundai took advantage of me. Don’t let it happen to you! You have rights as a buyer, use them! More

Always a good experience. Bryce was very nice and explained everything very well. I go to Folsom Lake dealership even though Roseville dealership is closer. Even though i was Bryce was very nice and explained everything very well. I go to Folsom Lake dealership even though Roseville dealership is closer. Even though i was late for my appointment due to an accident that caused a traffic back up i still got in and out in reasonable time. The waiting room is very nice with free snacks and wiFi. I will continue to use Folsom Lake for my Hyundai vehicle’s care. More
