A very fun and energetic young professional with a Smile all the time. Jack of all trades at the dealership. Customer Relations is my number one concern at KIA Delray. You have a Question, I have an answer.

I have never been so shocked or humiliated by an experience at a dealership. A friend of mine, who is already a Kia owner, went to Kia of Delray Beach for a routine service appointment. While she experience at a dealership. A friend of mine, who is already a Kia owner, went to Kia of Delray Beach for a routine service appointment. While she was waiting, she was approached by a salesperson named Wassim, who tried to sell her a vehicle. Throughout the conversation, he addressed her by her name multiple times, so there is no question he knew exactly who she was. When he handed her the vehicle proposal, she looked down and saw that the paperwork identified the **"Buyer Name" as "Ugly Customer"** (see pic attached). She was completely stunned. After collecting her thoughts, she asked him, "What is this? That's not nice." Instead of apologizing or explaining, he simply looked over at another salesperson as if he had been caught! He said nothing. No apology. No remorse. No explanation. When she told him she would not be buying the vehicle and walked away, she looked back and saw him smirking with the other associates. Still, nothing was said. It didn't end there. When management became involved, the first explanation was that it was "a computer glitch." When that explanation didn't make sense, the story changed to claiming the comment had been left in the system from a previous customer. Neither explanation is acceptable. If that's true, it means someone at this dealership thought it was appropriate to enter "Ugly Customer" into a customer record in the first place. The manager also told us Wassim is their "number one salesman." That made the situation even more concerning. If this is how your top salesperson treats customers, what does that say about the dealership's culture? Eventually, the manager admitted the situation was wrong and later stated that Wassim had been "written up for the final time." That statement alone raises serious concerns, suggesting there have been previous disciplinary issues. I respectfully request that Kia Corporate: Conduct a formal investigation into this incident. Review whether similar derogatory customer descriptions exist within dealership records. Review Wassim's disciplinary history and determine whether additional action is warranted. Review dealership management's handling of this complaint, including the inconsistent explanations that were provided. Require additional professionalism and customer-respect training if appropriate. Provide written confirmation that this complaint has been investigated and advise what corrective actions have been taken. This wasn't just poor customer service - it was degrading, humiliating, and completely unprofessional. No customer should ever be labeled or mocked based on their appearance. Imagine if this had happened to someone already struggling with their self-esteem or a young person trying to buy their first car. As a woman, I would strongly advise against patronizing this dealership. Based on this experience, I would have serious concerns about how female customers are viewed and treated. No one should have to wonder whether they're being judged by their appearance instead of being treated with the dignity and respect every customer deserves. More

While I was waiting I found out 2025 is the last year they are making the Soul. Niko in sales managed to get me almost triple the amount for my 2020 trade in value and dropped the price on the car as well. I couldn’t pass it up. More
