I am Jon Fridinger, Service Manager at Cedar Rapids Toyota. I have been with Cedar Rapids Toyota since April of 2007 and have been in the auto industry since I started detailing cars in high school. It has been great to see all of our loyal customers continue to buy and service their vehicles here over the years. I am originally from Vermont and moved to Iowa in ’97 with my wife Shayna and daughter Allison. Since moving to Iowa our family has grown with our 2nd daughter, Riley and our son, Jacob. We enjoy boating, camping, Iowa football, going to Linn-Mar football games, follow our favorite teams from the east coast (Red Sox, New England Patriots, Bruins hockey), and spend time with our family that is scattered all over the mid-west and east coast. ALL the pieces of my car should be put back My Prius needed a new O2 sensor. They said they could not get the sensor out (396$) without damaging the exhaust. It would cost an additional $615!?! They did not charge me, even though they spent alot of time on the car. I thought oh well they tried. My husband looked where the sensor was and noticed the heat shield in that area was GONE( it looked sheared.) I then took my car to Toyota of Iowa City. They got the sensor out and had to rebuild the thread where the sensor was(an extra 90$). He noted the cut heat shield and replaced it for 38$. WHEN YOU TAKE YOUR CAR TO BE REPAIRED, PIECES SHOULD NOT BE CUT OFF AND NOT REPLACED. I talked to Toyota of Cedar Rapids and they said "oh." More

We have bought Toyotas since 1988 at Cedar Rapids Toyota. You have the choice to buy new vehicles at multiple dealerships but it is the great service that keeps us coming back to CR Toyota. Service date: 11/8/13 Air conditioner. On Sunday Afternoon I was driving and the door locks clicked, emergency flashers and dome light all went on. They did not want t turn off right away.
