I purchased a vehicle from Jonathan about three years ago. Approximately six months ago, the windshield wipers were completely separated and fell apart so I reached out to Jonathan to see if I could be a ago. Approximately six months ago, the windshield wipers were completely separated and fell apart so I reached out to Jonathan to see if I could be accommodated as I am completely aware that the windshield wipers are no longer covered under the warranty however falling apart the way they did was again not normal. I barely drive my car , I purchased it brand new and as of today it has approximately 16,000 miles on it .When I reached out to Jonathan, his main concern was me purchasing another vehicle. He was basically saying if I need new windshield wipers get a new car. We actually went back-and-forth about this via text. I went as far as telling him does it make sense that you are telling me to come in and spend thousands of dollars when I just need a windshield wiper. Overall, I do not have a problem with BMW Freeport as I have had pretty good service with them for the last 15 years, my former sales person which was phenomenal was Alvin and even today he could be on vacation , if I call him regarding my car he assists. That experience with Jonathan shows that he’s just there for the sale and once the sale is over if it’s not about another sale, then don’t bother him. if he couldn’t assist with the windshield wipers, I would’ve been fine with that but to keep pushing a car on me as if that was the only resolution was a complete turn off.
