Dropped off my 2012 Touareg TDI for a failed water pump. I was told it would be a few days before it would be looked at which i was okay with. Got a call the following day saying it was all fixed! Back on t I was told it would be a few days before it would be looked at which i was okay with. Got a call the following day saying it was all fixed! Back on the road and good as new! More

Disappointing I'm having an intermittent problem with my radio/infotainment system. The diagnosis was "fault found" in system. This car is 3 yrs old and the system I'm having an intermittent problem with my radio/infotainment system. The diagnosis was "fault found" in system. This car is 3 yrs old and the system is a premium option. I find this nebulous diagnosis lacking and unacceptable. I can't help but suspect that either VW knows more about this issue than stated or at very least they would be interested in researching further into a possible defect. A suggested $2,000. replacement is something of an insult, considering the age of the vehicle. I am extremely disappointed with VW, with the litany of issues I've had with this 2017 Passat SEL Premium (my third VW, in the last 8 yrs.). Not very long ago your service dept. assisted me in getting to the source of a problem that had been misdiagnosed by another VW dealer, who recommended a costly solution that would not have resolved the issue. Your service mgr. interceded with VW customer care, on my behalf, who until that time were discounting my position. That has not been forgotten; however I find this "new" issue another symptom of a flawed system. I do enjoy many aspects, of my vehicle. Sadly these negatives have grossly overshadowed those and has severely damaged my faith, in this brands reliability. The questionnaire offers only two options for a service recommendation; in fairness an "unsure" third option would be my best choice. More

Jonathon Turk, Assistant Service Manager, prepared a quote for me to fix a leaky moonroof. He said that $140 was the diagnostic charge but it took less than 1 hour of labor to diagnose. He THEN stated that the whole moonroof needed to be replaced to the tune of $2800 dollars PLUS labor. I took the car to my local mechanic and he said it was a clog that could be fixed. It would cost no more than $700 to repair. This was an attempted robbery by Sunrise VW. More
