Hi Paul, I have talked to my Service Manager to figure out why you think we tried to shake you down for your money which is never something we would do, we apologize if you felt that way. He and our trained/certified technician both mentioned that they followed Vermont guidelines and protocols for a Vermont inspection which is what you came in for. While our technician was inspecting the vehicle, he had noticed that your rear brake rotors had surface rust on them and took photos if you would like to see them. I also have a copy of the Vermont Vehicle Inspection Guidelines if you would like me to send it all to you.
