Reaching a compromise on price was not difficult. That said - my experience in F&I was the very traumatic. My fault as I was not paying attention. In retrospect I should have taken the time to quietly review all the details on PAPER before taking final detail. The next day ..when I realized what had happened in F&I I went back … went ballistic! >> Then manager Jordan Hamel tasked assistant manager Steve Hoggle to sort it out. Over the period of a month EVERY SINGLE ISSUE WAS RESOLVED + AND MORE …Steve was was a gentleman about it. Sanguine- optimistic or positive, especially in an apparently bad or difficult situation. I will give Steve a shot at my next car purchase and when I am in Gainsville I will have my car serviced as their service department is very good. Lastly, their telephone routing system is horrible. Don’t give up on them if you have a problem. Mistakes are made. We are human. More

I explained that I'm a nurse and single mom of a 10-year-old with autism. I work an hour from home and needed to make sure I could get to and from work and get to my son if needed. I was a sold my first car. Within 3 days the check engine light came on. By the time I got to the dealership, it had gone off. They wouldn't look at the car, saying it was fine now. I had no choice but to leave without having my car looked at. The next time I drove it, the auto stop feature caused the entire car to shut down. When it kicked on, I had to put the car in park and restart the ignition. This caused me to be unable to get out of the way and a minor collision occurred. I had the car towed back to the dealership. The first call I got said there was nothing wrong with it. The next call I got said they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. After about a couple weeks they called and said the car was fixed. I went to pick it up. While sitting in their parking lot, the car stalled out then kept trying to restart itself without me touching anything. I was told they'd look at it again. At this point I went to the general manager. He asked me to give him until Tuesday to figure out what was wrong with the car. On Thursday I messaged him. He asked me if I hadn't heard from the service department. I was a little shocked he hadn't followed up with them but told him no. He told me to come back in. I went back to the dealership the next day, so sick I could barely sit up straight. I was given another car to test drive that was a year older. When I asked if we could just cancel the whole deal, I was told no. I basically had two choices. I could take the car that had three issues in a month or take this other car. I told him I was scared of their cars after the last one and all the issues. He assured me this new one was great. I test drive it with the sales guy. While not thrilled, I didn't see what choice I had. I asked the sales guy about the tires and he told me it had brand new tires on it. I expressed my concern about my credit getting dinged again and was told it wasn't a problem, they still had my credit report on file, so that wouldn't happen. As we got inside, the story changed. My credit got dinged again, as they pulled a whole new application for this car. I went home and said the xxxx with it. A few weeks later, I get a call that the financing department messed up and I needed to switch my lender to a different lender. I went back in and asked again if we could just cancel the whole thing, because I had zero faith in this dealership at this point. I was told l, again, that it couldn't be cancelled, that I would own either this current car or the last car. I signed the papers to switch my lender. I then took this car to MY mechanic. He informed me that my "brand new" tires were 8 years old and rotting and that there were issues with the passenger airbag. He said both were safety issues. I messaged the dealership. The first response was that there was 4 inches of tread on them, which, apparently, is all their safety requirements are. It doesn't matter if they're rotting, splitting, and out of date. Really high standards for your "Tru car certification". After me complaining further, their solution was to have me bring the car back to them and they'd "check the cost" of some tires. First, the cost shouldn't be an issue. You sold me an unsafe car. If you checked the treads, you saw the date, the rot, and the splitting, so you knew you were selling me car that the tire could blow on. Second, I wouldn't trust your service department to put gas in my car, after all the times I've been told a car is fixed or safe. I left a message for Morgan group asking for someone above the GM to contact me. I've never heard anything back from them. More

I should mention that the flyer does not mention and particular vehicle that they could make this deal with but I went in away. Made an appointment and went as scheduled and asked for person we thought we had the appointment with.. Greeted by salesperson Raul. He came back out and stated he would be taking care of us today. Almost immediately went into the appraisal process after being asked very few questions about what I wanted. I was looking to upgrade a used vehicle purchased from the dealership over 3 years ago. I knew that I had negative equity in my trade. Was informed that after the appraisal, then immediately asked how much I was willing to raise my payment. I mention the number and then Raul asked on what vehicle were you thinking about. I told them my choices and my preference. He went to the sales manager Jordan. They came back with absurdly high numbers and then went into how about a used car. Not interested I told them. Then how about a lease. Came back number nearly identical to the buy option. Decided it was best to take my business elsewhere. So from the misleading (Intentionally I believe) flyer, to the rush into the appraisal process to the lets talk money phase. There was never any building up a vehicle or even a lets take a look at one. Just a here are your numbers if you like are ridiculous numbers then we will show you a car. I decided that this was not the dealership for me anymore and will buy a vehicle somewhere else. More

My only critique is waiting for financing/completing the sale which took a long time and involved going over lots of extra added costs (couldn't the salesperson help with that?). That said, the officer was polite, professional, and expedited things once in office. Great experience overall. Thanks Honda! More

Speed and great purchase My old car (made in 2013 by another maker) had technical issues (loud sounds when stopping at a low speed), I dropped it to the dealer in Gainesville My old car (made in 2013 by another maker) had technical issues (loud sounds when stopping at a low speed), I dropped it to the dealer in Gainesville on Wednesday morning (Oct 9) and never heard anything back from them for three days, despite my continuous calling to check the status and issues. I was told on Friday that I won't be able to use the car over the weekend, and the time I would hear from them was pending. Until Saturday noon, I still did not hear anything from them about the identification of problems. On Saturday (Oct 12), I decide to get my old car back anyway and consider to check and then buy a car (I made an online quote to a Honda Fit in one of nights before Saturday). I literately walked in to check some information and try to make an appointment with them, but I ended with buying the Honda Fit with a trade in after a couple of hours. Jordan was very helpful during my purchase. I would like to recommend him and his dealer to others. Thanks, Jordan! More

He even came and delivered our vehicle to our home. He set-up the garage door opener, as well as pairing our cell phones. He went over the features of the vehicle in great detail. When he left, we felt confident about using the features of our new vehicle. The dealership went above and beyond for us. I only wish I could give them 100 stars! We had purchased another brand vehicle at a different dealership, previously. We made an appointment for an oil change at this other dealership, They could not get us in for 2 weeks, we arrived 1/2 hour early for the service, we waited almost 2 hours only to find they had never even started working on our vehicle. We left without the oil change. We told the sales manager at the Honda dealership what had happened at this other dealership. Honda of Gainseville gave each of us a free lunch and changed our oil for free!!! We will be doing all our auto business at Honda of Gainseville!!! Kudos to everyone at Honda of Gainseville!!! They have treated my husband and me like VIP's!!! WE LOVE THE ENTIRE STAFF!!! Thanks again ,Honda of Gainseville!!! More
