We placed a deposit on a truck after being told it would go through priority inspection and be ready quickly, knowing we were out of state and arranging travel. Over the course of a week, communication was inconsistent, promised updates didn’t happen, and we repeatedly had to follow up ourselves. Eventually, the dealership informed us the truck failed their own inspection and could not be sold. While we appreciate them not selling an unsafe vehicle, this information came only after days of delays and uncertainty. We were then offered a similar truck but were not willing to honor the previously agreed out-the-door price, despite the inconvenience, failed inspection, and miscommunication being entirely on the dealership’s end. To make matters worse, the salesperson accidentally sent us an internal text referring to me negatively, which was extremely unprofessional. Overall, this was the most frustrating and poorly communicated car-buying experience we’ve ever had. Buyers—especially those traveling from out of state, should proceed with caution. More
