Just purchased a used car from them. I just purchased a used 2016 Chevy Trax from a salesman named Jose. They gave me a fair price for my trade-in and an even better price for the car. I know it's early to go blowing my horn about how good they were, but they took care of everything. My 5-6 year relationship with them is just getting started. Terrible I purchased a 2014 Chevy Cruze 2LT from José. It was a very exciting buy as it was my first car..that is until I began noticing all of the issues wit I purchased a 2014 Chevy Cruze 2LT from José. It was a very exciting buy as it was my first car..that is until I began noticing all of the issues with the car. I bought the car on a Saturday night, and the following day I noticed a broken headlight. It was Sunday so service was closed, and when I brought it in the following day they apologized for not noticing it previously and ordered a new headlight to replace the broken one. While waiting for the part in the days to follow I began having troubles starting the vehicle. It would not turn on when the key was turned. I brought it in immediately and they took the car in and gave me a loaner. I purchased the vehicle 11/18, and the first service job was 11/24 already. It was in the shop until that Monday, after which they returned the vehicle claiming the problem was the remote not being programmed correctly. Needless to say the problems continued, even began affecting the electrical (when cranking the wipers and hazards would turn on and the power windows wouldn’t work). I brought it in again, and again they gave me a loaner. Today, 12/4 while going through the service records by myself I noticed that service had noted on the first visit that they found seepage from oil pan gasket, axle seal, and lower transmission cooler line seeping. This correlated to the complaints I had made previously that I hear a noise underneath the car when turning my wheel. I immediately brought back the loaner and expressed my concerns of my OWN car being a defective vehicle. I didn’t want to continue Driving loaner cars when I pay for a car that’s always in service, and I don’t have time to come here every time a problem presents itself which is seemingly daily. I didn’t wish to be unsafe as I had purchased this vehicle just two weeks ago and already it has so many concerning problems. I requested that they take back this unsafe vehicle and provide me with a different one, or give me my money back. They said that if they were to trade my car I would have to pay much more per month even though in every way possible this was their fault. They also said I couldn’t have my money back. Joseph Komendanchik, the “business manager” as he introduced himself fame to speak to me. He diminished my feelings about having bought a broken car. He sarcastically told me it was just a headlight, and that the electrical problem was JUST a battery which they replaced. He proceeded to bring his own life into the discussion, again diminishing my concern and stated that ,”this is what cars do, they break. I mean look at my truck, it’s in the shop because it’s pis**** diesel.”. I said that’s irrelevant and a car that was just bought two weeks ago SHOULD NOT be breaking, after which he said your car is perfectly fine yet refused to put it in writing. I brought up that I will be contacting Lemon Law lawyers (which handle cars 2014 and up), and he said,” good luck, they won’t do anything because lemon law is for new cars only, plus all lawyers know that seepage is normal.” He had no wishes to solve my problem civilly and therefore I asked that I speak to someone above him regarding my problem as his sarcasm was harming me emotionally. He said that,” there is nobody else, it’s just him. And even if there was, everyone else would give me the same response that I cannot have a new car because mine is fine.”. I got up and walked over to the finance director John Miniuk and along the way Casey, a salesman, stopped to ask if anything got solved and I hear Joseph Komendanchik say “Casey don’t talk to her” loudly as he walks away into his office. This treatment was DESPICABLE as someone who had just purchased a Chevrolet vehicle at Bill Kay Chevrolet. John Miniuk helped me as much as possible saying that if there’s any other problems that I notice I can come to him, however I can’t help but feel ripped off. I am stuck paying for a ticking time bomb and this dealership did absolutely nothing to help me for the mistake they made selling this vehicle to me. Very deeply disappointed as I believed that they would stand by their promise for quality, safe, reliable cars and customer satisfaction. More

Honestly I met Jose Salas on my first visit to Bill Kay Chevrolet. If you are in the market for a new vehicle, I strongly recommend that you meet him. Honestly, I went to Bill Kay to just look at a new Tahoe 2017 but his knowledge about vehicle features is stellar and helped me decide to purchase the Tahoe I was looking for. He exhibits a genuine character that is not typical of car sales persons. Jose is the best sales person I ever met. He was very helpful in our needs and he met our expectation. Thank you, Mr. Salas, you have a great customer service. Finance Department too are very friendly, helpful and very approachable. The dealership is solid! More
