Tim was on-point with everything & knew the inventory well, which was extremely helpful as I described different things I was looking for & wanting to see. He was so patient as I flip flopped back & forth between cars, as they were all outstanding! The hardest part of my experience was literally being torn between two different models that I was absolutely in love with - I couldn't make a decision. I said "I need to see the two of them next to each other." Within minutes Tim had lined them up next to each other perfectly for me & after a few minutes of thorough examination my decision was made! And I am so happy!!! I traded in my old black on black 2010 XC90 for a white on white 2019 S60 T5! Oh it's beautiful!!! And Tim was phenomenal throughout the entire process - cool, calm, collected, patient (& funny too!) - never being pushy at all & always making me feel completely comfortable. I honestly enjoyed the entire experience! Tim also took the time to introduce me to the service team & I already feel comfortable & confident with any future service visits - thanks Jud! Drew in finance was fabulous! He was extremely knowledgeable (& resourceful!), & had me in & out within an hour! The process was simple & painless! I really am grateful for the entire experience & I would recommend Courtesy Volvo to anyone! Tim (retired Army) - thank you so very much, not only for your outstanding service in my car buying process, but also for your service to our country! There is a reason this is my 5th Volvo & won't be my last, & it's because of experiences like this. Thank you Courtesy Volvo of Scottsdale!!! More

First Year, 6 Repairs I admit that, for the past year and a half, I’ve been persistent in my efforts of getting help from Courtesy Volvo. So much so that one of their staff I admit that, for the past year and a half, I’ve been persistent in my efforts of getting help from Courtesy Volvo. So much so that one of their staff members informed me earlier this week that my name is “brought up around the dealership”— I don’t imagine that could mean anything respectful, since there haven’t been any subsequent attempts from anyone in the office to contact me directly. The help I've been seeking has been an opportunity to have a discussion with Jason Church about the experience I’ve had with the used 2011 Volvo XC60 that I purchased from Courtesy Volvo in November 2017. Within 7 weeks of ownership, the check engine light came on. I brought it to the attention of the service department immediately, but was informed that it’s a repair that isn’t covered under my warranty and that I’m responsible for the repair fees. I would be more understanding of that response if it didn’t happen almost immediately after purchasing the car. In addition to the check engine light, the car was in their service department 6 times for repairs for a collective time of upwards of two months in my first year of owning it (repairs include AC, pulley system, and axle/alignment). Is it unreasonable for me to be aggrieved by this? These are two claims that come directly from the Courtesy Volvo website: "With the amazing line up of new VOLVO products, and the Courtesy reputation of looking after our customers, we are proud to serve the Valley's VOLVO customers.” "We know that shopping for a used car is often fraught with challenges and misinformation from dealerships just looking to make a sale. But, that's simply the never the case when you shop for a used car with us. We promise to always offer fair-market prices on used cars that have been thoroughly inspected to guarantee their long-lasting quality and dependability. “ Neither of which align with what my experience has been with them.
