This past week I bought a used Jeep Grand Cherokee. Overall everything seemed great and I had a preappeoval. Walked in with it and the car was awesome and the sale overall was ok. I did catch them running my credit with banks I did not authorize them too. I told them only to run the one I was preapproved with. Their response was they were trying to get me a better deal. Got the car and everything seemed good. Even a warranty for repairs. 2 days later issues appeared. I noticed the tire pressure dropping to 19 psi. Took it in and was told there is a slow leak due to a nail and I would have to buy a new tire to replace it and the warranty doesn’t cover it. Not cool since I just had it for 2 days. They also showed me service records that I was not shown at the sale. Apparently a couple mechanical parts were replaced and this is a vehicle with 30k miles. One report said there was issues with pumping gas. They also told me a tire had been patched and the windshield replaced. I was shocked since they should have told me this with the car fax but that was clean with no repairs according to them. It also turned out that they did not have the tire in stock so I had to come back Saturday when they would. They scheduled me for a 1 pm appointment. Ok all should be good. After 1.5 hours of waiting I asked what’s the status. They said they just found the tire. I am wondering why they scheduled this time and took so long to get a tire. Another issue is they only gave us one key. So I asked for a new one. They claimed the fob is around 200 plus and the metal piece is 70 and a 70 programming fee. This is insane! I have found the key at many places for 50 to 70 and most dealers charge 75 for programming so I expected maybe 150 tops, not 400. I highly advise to think twice about this place. This experience has been really bad and I am never getting my Jeep serviced with them again after this experience. Nor will I be buying another car from them. Other things that I noticed were the following: the lack of masks and social distancing during Covid-19. Many employees were not respecting the rules set in place by wearing a mask or maintaining 6 feet distance. The only one who did that well was the main manager I worked with for sales. More

DO NOT GO HERE To start off, this dealership is just horrible. The finance guys and managers have no clue what they are doing. They had me write the so called “wrong To start off, this dealership is just horrible. The finance guys and managers have no clue what they are doing. They had me write the so called “wrong amount” on the check and then 2 days later after i left called me and my bank stating i wrote the wrong amount. Why would i write a different amount when the guy is clearly standing right in front of me? He was so busy trying to sell an extra warranty that he xxxxed his own job up. Now, they are keeping our trade in vehicle captive, not giving us the new car title and calling my bank telling them to double my interest rate because THEY told me the wrong amount. It is requiring me to fill out a new auto loan application and fill the paperwork out all over again. They literally hooked us in and threatened to not give us the title of the car that we bought. They waited until the check cleared through my bank to make sure that we could not go else where after the check was written. DO NOT make our mistake. They will drag you down and hold you there. I would much rather have our old vehicle back and go to a better dealership down the street. Take my word for it and the other people who have had issues shopping here. You can do much better somewhere else. They could careless about the customers. More

What I received was a great buying experience carried out by an excellent sales team. Sales representative Alexander Alecxih started it off with great customer service skills, both personable and professional. He was attentive, interested, and knowledgeable without his performance feeling contrived. That was followed up by a well-rounded veteran experience as given by his sales supervisor Ryan Thompson. Southern bred, and well adjusted to city folk, Ryan completed the experience and left me completely satisfied with my purchase. I could go on to talk about James in service, or my finance specialist who did all the paper/computer work; but, I'm trying to be brief. But just let me say...I do believe they're available for a repeat performance! More

Service @ the SPEED if Lightning I looked online and randomly selected a vehicle because I wanted to chat with someone in Sales. After chatting I'd requested a point of contact in Fi I looked online and randomly selected a vehicle because I wanted to chat with someone in Sales. After chatting I'd requested a point of contact in Finance and I was told that Kelli would contact me. She called me within 20 minutes and I explained my situation. I did not want to waste anyone's time and wanted to work with Finance first. Within 2 hours or less, Kelli told me that we were approved. I could not believe it. We picked up our new vehicle without any hassles. No issues. No upsales. No haggling. We paid the WOW online sales price. Trevor Owens, Sales Representative, was AWESOME too in preparing our vehicle, had it detailed, and explained all of the great features. I LOVE KOONS! More

Chris and Gladys were a pleasure to work with from the start, courteous, professional, and eager to get the job done without being pressured. Jay was instrumental in finding the needle in the haystack to make the deal work and having worked with Kelli and Tyler before they are always on top of things and make the business side of the deal an easy to understand and expedient process. He even helped me set up most of them. He is truly a genuine and caring person, his only concern was making sure we had a great car buying experience and received the vehicle of our choice with minimal effort on our part. Everyone we had contact with at Koons of Tysons from the Sales Manager Jay Jarvis, the Finance Manager Kelli Dyer, to the parts department all treated us the same. I was in the market for a new car, and was looking at all I was in the market for a new car, and was looking at all the major brands for a muscle car, ford / dodge / chevy. Found that in the Northern VA ar I was in the market for a new car, and was looking at all the major brands for a muscle car, ford / dodge / chevy. Found that in the Northern VA area, several dealers weren't open on sundays, and those that were told me that they had nothing for me to look at or test drive. Despite it being a little after 5 pm, we decided to drive out to Tysons Corner and see what Koons had in stock. I didn't expect there would be many people out & about, since it was late and most of the dealerships seemed to be closed or closing. We pulled up, starting walking towards the lot, and Dave Sawyer came out & introduced himself to us. I told him what I was looking for, he took us directly to the camaros, despite it being just a few minutes before closing time. I never felt rushed. It seemed he wanted to make sure I got the car I wanted, not (as some salespeople do) the car they want me to buy. It was too late to take a test drive that day (plus it was raining) so I wanted to come back the next day, he told me to just call ahead & he'd have one ready for me. I did come back the next day, test drove it, and decided the camaro was the one for me. I ordered the car, and unlike some dealers that could only tell me "we can order it, but we don't know when we'll get it"...Dave gave me a rough estimate, and then was able to shorten that already small window. He helped me every step of the way, what options was I looking for, what did I like, things of that nature. Once the car was ordered, I got updates fairly frequently from him, letting me know the status of the build. GM had some delays, and the car was held up from being delivered, but again, Dave was on the ball and gave me the notice earlier than later, so it wasn't a surprise. What WAS a surprise was that I'd expected the car to be several weeks past the original 7 to 8 week window, and the car actually arrived at the 6 week mark. Dave had known I was going out of town, and had made plans to store the car for me, to ensure no one else would sit in it / drive it / etc, as he seemed to understand this was my dream car. When I got in to the dealership to purchase it, it was hands down the best experience I've had buying a car. Dave had the car parked far away from any other cars, to ensure no one parked near it, or really even went near it. Everything was set up before I got there, so it was fairly short work on the day of delivery. Once I had to go in to deal with the financing (which seems to always be a bear of a time in car dealerships) Kelli was a delight to work with. She had the financing taken care of in short order and explained everything I had questions about, from how the financing worked to the extended warranty / tire protection / maintenance options. Before I realized it I was done and Dave was showing me the nuances of the car. I think the total time spent in the dealership was around 2 hours. Unheard of (by me) for buying a new car. I think I spent as much time telling people about my new car as I did telling them how impressed I was with Koons. When the time comes for another new car, my first stop will be back at Koons Tysons Corner. More
