Years ago, I bought my first new car at Longo Toyota in El Monte, California, and had a great buying experience. Before buying my new 2023 RAV4 Prime XSE, I contacted other dealerships in my area, but I did not feel comfortable with their old-fashioned and misleading selling techniques. So, this is the third new car that I’ve purchased from Longo Toyota, and even if I have to travel a relatively longer distance from the city where I live to buy a new car from Longo, I know that it’s worth the effort. When I contacted Longo Toyota, I was put in touch with Ken Tang, one of Longo’s new car sales representatives. He was very transparent about everything from the beginning; he answered all my questions and addressed my concerns, both over the phone and by email. I got the car that I wanted without having to pay the “market adjustment” that some of the other dealerships were charging, or having to haggle over ridiculously overpriced dealer installed options.
