Hi Dory: As we explained--we were out of all our loaner vehicles and were sorry we were not able to accommodate you with one (even after trying to call out to our Fort Atkinson store to check too). We received your unexpected call about your vehicle problem and Griffin was TRYING to work with you that morning to fit you in for service, arrange for a ride to your work, and/or call Enterprise for a vehicle for you to use. We were sorry in the middle of all that, when you felt the best way to get the loaner you wanted was to go online to several review sites and post your displeasure with our dealership. Our dealership is a business just like any other. We have a set number of vehicles we keep in loaner service to accommodate our service guests when they need one. We offered you all the options we could at the time. When you refused, we suggested perhaps another dealership would have the loaner you needed. What our Service Manager stated was we were not obligated to push aside our other customers (who had appointments) to accommodate your warrantied vehicle. But, Griffin WAS indeed doing just that and told you if you left your vehicle, we would work on it throughout the day to solve your problem. The only hold up you had was the loaner vehicle (which we did not realize you would need before you came into our dealership). Our staff was working through getting you a rental vehicle (at no cost) when your language became offense to them and other customers. We were disappointed we couldn't help you any more at that point. Your formal complaint with Jeep will perhaps deliver you some satisfaction. Even the brand understands our obligation to help warrantied customers falls within our already set appointment schedule and capabilities. We are sorry you did not figure the same, as it became apparent there was nothing we could do to make you happy. Again, we were prepared to take your vehicle in that day and fix its problems. When you demanded something we couldn't immediately deliver (but were working on), then became unreasonable--we felt perhaps you could try some other dealers to get your satisfaction. You told our Service Writer you had been experiencing the problem for 4 days. Before the issue became so immediate, we wish you would have reached out to us sooner. Then, perhaps we could have reserved one of our loaners (before another customer needs prevailed) or had your complimentary rental car waiting for you when you showed up at our Service Department. We wish you well.
