I've purchased several Hondas, previously, and I live in the Akron area...so of course the go-to dealerships were those based in and around Akron. But I have to tell you, I've been less-than-pleased with th the Akron area...so of course the go-to dealerships were those based in and around Akron. But I have to tell you, I've been less-than-pleased with the sales crews at those locations over the last few years, both for myself and for family and friends when I've visited for new car purchases. A friend who drives Honda put me in touch with the sales manager for Jay Honda just the other day, and what a difference that made! He put me in touch with several folks up there (Ibraheem - sales, and Taylor - finance manager) and for the first time in years I can honestly say that I enjoyed my car buying experience. There are too many other names to mention - I had an appointment early on a Saturday, before things got too busy - and it seemed like every salesmen I spoke with remembered my name after meeting me, even if only in passing. They have a great crew up there. I tried buying in Akron before visiting Jay Honda - it just didn't feel right. After meeting with Ibraheem and others, I believed they were offering me a fair deal, and there was a level of trust I didn't find elsewhere. They sold a car, and they have a customer who will recommend them to all interested Honda buyers. That's a successful formula. More
