Excellent Purchase Experience: Just Takes Too Long I have made six vehicle purchases over the years at Inskeep Ford. I like doing business with them because they are local, I don't feel like they give I have made six vehicle purchases over the years at Inskeep Ford. I like doing business with them because they are local, I don't feel like they give me the run-around or a hassle, and they don't bug me after the fact. They are there when I need them, but otherwise they leave me alone. And Inskeep doesn't spend a fortune on television advertising like the constant barrage of auto ads you see from certain Indianapolis car dealers -- which in my mind can only be reflected in a higher price of their vehicles. After all, they have to pay for all those TV ads somehow, don't you think? My sales consultant this time around was Kirby Johnson, who has been with Inskeep Ford for 10 years. He REALLY knows his stuff. He didn't strong-arm me or jerk me around, and I felt that he didn't try to hustle me. A very laid back approach! I appreciate that he trusted me to take a couple of the vehicles for a test drive unaccompanied, and even allowed me to take the vehicle home to let my spouse see it before buying it. As we looked through half a dozen vehicles in which I was interested, he gave me estimated payments off the top of his head that eventually proved to be within $5-$10 of the actual amount. That is pretty impressive and tells me that he is well experienced in his job and knows what he is doing. Ultimately I was able to get a monthly payment $45 LOWER than his estimate following a good credit check, which made me happy since I was already mentally prepared to make the higher payment. Annually that's $540 less in payments, and every little bit counts, you know? FURTHER, Kirby was supposed to get off work at 2 pm that day, but it took seven hours from start to finish to complete the sale from 11 AM to 6 PM, and so he stayed until 6:30 pm -- 4.5 hours late -- to walk me through the features of the vehicle after the sale and financing was complete. I greatly respect Mr. Johnson for doing that, and I recommend him to anyone who may read this. I was very pleased to learn that the 2017 used vehicle I finally chose (that came from a one-owner premium lease with just 29,250 miles on it) still has a 7-year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty as well as free oil changes from Inskeep for the next two years. That was an unexpected bonus for this purchase. My trade-in had unrepairable water damage throughout the interior, so I was also quite pleased that they gave me what I consider a fair trade-in price for an 8-year old vehicle that is in bad shape. I was also very impressed by the professionalism and knowledge of the finance officer, Ali Woerner. She is very business-like of course, as she MUST be in such a position, but she was also friendly and cordial and conversational, which made the complicated paperwork portion of the sale more palatable. I am disappointed with the APR on this transaction, because I have an excellent credit score. But I understand that it is hard to get a great APR on a USED vehicle. However, this 3-year old vehicle is so nice that it FEELS like a new one! [grin] Overall I am always comfortable doing business with Inskeep Ford, and so I recommend this dealership if you are considering purchasing a vehicle. They may not have acres and acres of vehicles like you see on all those nauseating TV ads, but I walked around the lot and had a good look at their inventory, and they have a very good selection of both new and used vehicles. More

We truly feel that he was there for us and not to get a sale. Also, Ali in Finance was a great help. We ended up purchasing a brand new Expedition during the Black Friday sale and could not be more pleased. Even the delivery of the vehicle was top notch! Kirby went through all of the features and the vehicle was cleaned impeccably inside and out. We feel like we were treated outstanding and got a great deal! And that has not happened in a very long time! This experience will be hard to beat! More
