Best car buying experience yet! I’ve been looking at Toyota Tacomas since 2020. I decided to hold off a while due to many reasons, including living in FL near overpriced dealers. I’ve been looking for a manual transmission and a reasonable price. When I started looking seriously again end of 2025/beginning of 2026, I was willing to drive up to 12+ hours for the right truck. Findlay Toyota just so happened to have exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price. I submitted my information online immediately when I saw the truck (it was late at night). I immediately got what I assume was an automated reply via text saying a salesman would contact me in the morning. As promised, one of their salesmen, Kyle, contacted me promptly in the morning. I verified the truck’s details and that it was available and put money down the same day. As it was being built, Kyle kept me updated on the projected delivery date. It arrived on the early side of the estimate, and Kyle let me know. I wasn’t able to pick it up right away, but he reassured me that it wasn’t going anywhere, which I appreciated. Kyle helped me get as much paperwork done up front as possible, which helped keep my time at the dealership short and sweet! At pickup, I test drove the truck, Kyle gave me some great information on the engine, and we handled my trade in and the last paperwork expeditiously! I normally hate dealing with car salesmen. But I genuinely enjoyed working with Kyle. What I really appreciated was that he never tried to sell me something I didn’t want; I was very clear that the manual transmission was a hard requirement. He also never tried to get extra money out of me; I have had other dealers try to raise the negotiated price quietly after hours of paperwork and negotiations. Kyle was very honest and straightforward. He made the whole process as fast and painless as possible, without neglecting to explain every document signed in adequate detail. He also knew the product he was selling, beyond the basic selling points like heated seats and apple car play. He’s also a cool guy and pleasant to talk to. Best car buying experience I’ve had. More
