If you ever break down on a vacation, pray it is close to Findlay Chevrolet. My wife and I were on our way to Disney land to meet our daughter and her family when my 2006 Silverado had a major malfunction. Our Findlay Chevrolet. My wife and I were on our way to Disney land to meet our daughter and her family when my 2006 Silverado had a major malfunction. Our GPS looked up the closest Dealership and luckily it was Findlay Chevrolet, We called and talked to Lana Garceau and because it was close to closeing time she wasn't sure if anyone was still in the service department but to headed theier way. When we arrived we were met by Tony Smith and he informed us that Scott Nordberg the service Advisor was standing by to assist us. We were pulling a fith wheel camper and Tony had me unhook next to there building were we could have electricity for our refridgerator and air conditioning (It was 104 degrees) Scott took the truck to the shop and said he would do his best to get us back on the road (Scott also took me to Lowes in his personal car to get an extension cord )Unfortunately the breakdown was major. The Fuel pump had came apart and contaminated the entire system ($12,000.00) plus the possibility the turbo had a problem($1,000.00)and would take a couple of days to repair. Scott recomended with the age of our truck and the severity of the damage we might consider trading and introduced us to David Janacek.I can't say enough about this young man. David went way beond what was a normal, let me sell you a truck.Findlay did not have the truck we were looking for and the ones they did have were out of our price range(Retired). We ended up with a one ton dully that David actually purchased from another Dealership for us and worked out the financing so we could afford it.Mike Chance the vehicle deivery Manager was great at getting us introduced to the new truck (We hear he dose a great Evis imatation)and Jamaal McCoy the General manger checked on us several times. In all we spent four days living in Findlay's complex and had to have the equipment swaped from old to new to pull the fith wheel.David gave us access to a car and also hauled us around to get everything put in the new truck. At some point we will probably need another vehicle and we will drive the 500 miles to Findlay Chevrolet to do it. Thanks to all the great people who helped us. Rod & Carolyn Watson More
