Most of the financial issues were worked out as well as they could be. But we were still disappointed. It’s interesting to me that three different Subaru stores in the area can have 3 different invoice prices. My name is Todd Sinclair and my wife, Amanda, and I purchased a 2019 Ascent Limited this past Tuesday, December 4th at your dealership. I wanted to make you aware of the experience we had when purchasing our vehicle, however, I first wanted to share that we are very pleased with our purchase and only having the vehicle for two days we know this will be a car we will enjoy for years to come. Unfortunately the experience in purchasing our car was not as enjoyable as having the car. We first came into your dealership on November 10th and met with Mike Bakeman. Mike was great initially and took us on a test drive and answered all our questions about the car. Mike also told us he could offer us invoice pricing which was great to hear. Mike also emailed us (after our visit) that our company (UHG) was part of the VIP program (2% off) and could offer this on top of the invoice pricing. We came back to the dealership on November 23 and sat down with Mike again as we were very interested in buying the car. Mike mentioned there was a car in-transit with all the features we wanted. We told Mike we had been renting a car and he mentioned (per the notes we have) that he could loan us a loaner car through the dealership until our car came in since it would be no more than a week until it arrived. He also mentioned again we could get invoicing pricing on top of our UHG discount. We also talked about the automatic starter within the Subaru App and Mike mentioned he could include this in the cost of the vehicle. On the way home that day we called and had Mike put a hold on the car. He told us he would follow-up with us the following Monday morning (November 29). We had to call Mike that Monday afternoon to follow-up and discussed the final cost of the car. It was at this time Mike said he could only honor the invoice price but not the additional 2% discount for the VIP program. We were confused since we were told both discounts would be honored. We did mentioned to Mike that we had been talking to other dealerships but still planned on purchasing this car. Mike then said he needed to get all the paperwork (since he didn’t have this in front of him) and would call us back later that day. He never called back and we tried contacting him (both via phone and emails) for a couple days and did not heard back from him. It was then I reached out to Jodie Fahey. Jodie was very helpful and was able to get answers for us but she only really knew what Mike and us were telling her so I’m sure she felt like the middleman. Jodie did mentioned that she could only honor the invoice cost which was disappointing to hear and she could not get us a loaner car for the week. Because of this we had to rent a car and Jodie did offer $50 for a rental but still not enough for the $150 we had to use to rent a car for the week. Our car finally came in on Tuesday, December 4th and we went into the dealership that evening to purchase the car. Mike was not available to meet so we met with Lara and she was great to meet with and answered all our questions and very accommodating. Lara went through some additional details and mentioned the automatic starter was an additional $75 for three years. We told her we were told by Mike this was included and she mentioned she couldn’t really do anything and that would be something to speak to Mike about. We did reach out to Mike the next day and he mentioned that wasn’t included and there was nothing he could do. Again not happy with what we were told initially and now being told something different. At this point we have not been very happy with the service we were provided especially since Subaru is known for their customer’s to “Buy Happy”. We understand at this point the car has been purchased and nothing can be done with the cost of the vehicle but we are hoping something can be done to change our mind on the level of service we were expecting. Great Dealership with Excellent Staff I just purchased my second vehicle at Morrie's Minnetonka Subaru and had a great experience as I did the first time around. Lara sold me both vehicles I just purchased my second vehicle at Morrie's Minnetonka Subaru and had a great experience as I did the first time around. Lara sold me both vehicles and sure everything was smooth and efficient. Morrie's has a great service department as well. I'll be coming back next time I'm in the market for another one. More

Love Morrie’s Subaru!!! We have owned older Subaru’s and wanted to upgrade to a newer model. We ended up with a 2019 Outback and absolutely LOVE it!!! We live in St Cloud an We have owned older Subaru’s and wanted to upgrade to a newer model. We ended up with a 2019 Outback and absolutely LOVE it!!! We live in St Cloud and have a dealership here but wanted to buy from Morries as our daughter and son-in-law have bought two new Subaru’s from Morries and they always have great things to say about the service and great buying experience. We can certainly vouch about the great service. Lara was so awesome to work with, she made the process so smooth and pleasurable and it felt like we have known her forever. Also hats off to Ross , very personable and he explained the whole financing in detail with the different options available. Lara and Ross are ROCK STARS and we look forward to working with them again in a few years when we replace our 2007 Subaru. We are forever a family of Subaru’s!! Thank you Morrie’s More
