I went to Maplewood to drive a Tundra and show my wife what I thought our next truck would/should be. First truck we drove was ok, a bit loud. It was not the preferred color. It also did not have a heated steering wheel, which I strongly desired, due to arthritis in my hands. We could not afford a new truck, even though Toyota was offering low financing (1.99/48 mos or 3.99/72 mos. @ that time).
Two days later, Larry called me and he said he had a truck for me. It was a used '22 Tundra(<20k) that Maplewood got on a trade in, it had a heated steering wheel, & was my preferred color.
Larry was not high pressure. He knew what to say that made sense to us. He worked hard to get us a loan we could live with.
He also arranged to accept my aging Silverado with 160k as part of the down payment.
We would be comfortable to seek Larry out in the future.
