I didn’t feel pressured at all and felt like he genuinely was trying to help me get the best deal. I would definitely visit him again to purchase a car in the future! Dealing with the finance gentleman, Larry, was where everything almost fell apart. Unfortunately, he was the only one working the night I was purchasing a vehicle and there was 2 customers ahead of me. This led to me not going in to finish the financial paperwork until 11pm. While in his office, we had some questions about the amounts and how they were calculated and instead of showing / explaining them he kept repeating financial jargon that most people would not understand. He also made a comment that “he didn’t need to go to dealerships with his son to help understand the finance parts because he taught his son finances.” I am not sure how I was supposed to take this comment but it was offensive. I understand it was late and we were all tired and wanted to be done with the whole process, however there’s no need for comments like that. Who I bring to accompany me when buying a car should not be thrown in my face, nor should my intelligence or financial knowledge. When called out for this comment he immediately walked it back and tried to make it sound like he didn’t say it in an insulting way, but again I’m not sure how else anyone would interpret that comment, it certainly was not a compliment. Hopefully in the future he will choose his words with more forethought. I would also suggest Nucar have more finance people available especially around times when you know that sales are ending as I’m sure those times are always super busy, and it would make the process much faster. For reference I waited around 2.5 hours just to get to the financial paperwork. Other than that, I was happy with my experience and my vehicle. More
